I had to replace my former Ultrean Air Fryer when the fan burnt out so I thought with my family size I was due for an upgrade. When I saw all of the cool features and size of this one, I thought it would be perfect. I'm still relatively pleased with it, but there are some things you should strongly consider before purchasing it. While most smaller air fryers have a basket that pulls out for relatively easy cleaning, this product is more akin to a rotisserie or toaster oven. The door opens and you take out mesh trays. Multiple people have commented on the difficulty of cleaning these trays so I won't really dwell on it, but that's not the real problem here for me. I've only been using it for about a week and already the entire back wall is spattered with grease. Ugh. In a normal oven, this is relatively easy to clean, but because this is compact, it makes it a little more difficult. I also cook a lot of frozen foods for my kids (chicken nuggets, tater tots, etc.) and the crumb-like breading gets stuck in the door hinges which are also not particularly easy to clean. My suggestion is to use a can of compressed air, but that only works if the crumbs aren't already too greasy. Plus you'll want to make sure to wipe it down with water afterwards. The last drawback is the drip tray's construction. It is literally just that - a tray. Very shallow. So even though the oven has an awesome rotisserie function, the tray is not particularly deep enough to catch all of the drips. And if it does manage to catch it all, you have to VERY careful removing it to dump because the lip is so shallow. This oven also doesn't seem to be quite as efficient as the lower model, taking longer to crisp up what I'm cooking. Now for the good: -It's huge. If you're like me and occasionally indulge in a snacky dinner, you can make enough food for 4 people in one go. -The rotisserie feature is also super cool, but be aware, the spit is designed for a broiler/fryer size chicken. I tend to buy the bigger roasters (more meat for the effort) so when I went to roast one last night, it didn't fit on the spit. That's okay! I managed to split my chicken and cook it as two halves on separate trays and it still came out tender with delicious crispy skin. -The kebab feature is also pretty cool but there is a technique to removing them when they're fresh from the fryer. If you squeeze the circular end they pop right out - I was able to do it while they were still fresh from the fryer without burning myself. And they came out delicious and juicy -I love the idea of the fryer basket, but it is kind of cumbersome to open so I haven't used it yet. My biggest takeaway is that, like any new small appliance you have to play with it a little bit, especially since the instructions that come with it leave A LOT to be desired. And if you require your fryer to be clean, you will probably spend more time cleaning it than you will be cooking with it. Never had an air fryer before so this was a new experience and one I would recommend. It came with East to follow recipe booklet and was so easy to use and very easy to keep clean.. can’t recommend it highly enough, so if you are looking for one this is a very good option. Bear in mind the smell dissipates after a few uses, otherwise it might put you off. ... show more

I wanted a toaster oven/air fryer combo but needed it to be under a certain size to fit on my counter. They can get pretty pricy and I saw this one for under $100 and decided to try it. I kept it for a few weeks but ultimately returned it. There was an odor when I first got it but it faded after a few days. Unfortunately it came back after about a week and was very strong. I couldn't figure out what was causing it. So I returned it before the window closed. It's a little confusing to use at first but once you get the settings/icons down it's pretty straightforward. I tried to crisp up a tortilla and it got sucked up onto the fan lol. I even tried lowering the rack and it helped a little but it kept flopping around. The inside is much smaller than I expected based on the dimensions. An 8 inch tortilla barely fit in there. I bought it in the hope that I wouldn't have to turn on my oven as much. But it won't fit toaster oven sized pans. A quarter sheet pan BARELY fit in there and it was awkward because the shelves it comes with aren't flat so it wasn't balanced right. I baked mini bundt cakes in there and they cooked faster than the oven. Mine got a little over done because I didn't think they'd cook that fast. I could get 2 little silicone bundt cake molds in there. I might have been able to get 3 or 4 but because of the shelf shape it would have been challenging. Because it's an air fryer too it kind of dries out your bread. So when I toasted a bagel it was a lot more crispy than the toaster but the inside was crispy too if that makes sense. A normal toaster just toasts the outside but the inside is still bready. I didn't hate it but something to possible consider. It did toast things more evenly than my toaster. I made little tortilla pizzas which turned out OK. It was hard to get the tortilla really crispy and cheese melted nicely, so I couldn't get browned bits. Overall it's fine.
