First off, don't let any of the negative dings a handful of people have given this tent stop you from making a purchase! I've seen where people ding it a little bit for being difficult to put up. That's not a case of the product not having clear instructions, nor of the product somehow having some fault. When you're putting up a large tent, particularly if you don't have much experience, it's not a simple, straightforward task you're going to do in 15 minutes. I did it myself over the course of a couple of hours, taking it leisurely. I would suggest having a friend help if possible, but it's certainly not impossible to do yourself with a little persistence. The height is the big issue. Unless you're my height, you better get yourself a ladder. LOL Anyway, the seller sends a small card so that you can take a photo of your review and get a $25 discount on your next tent. That doesn't color the way I write my interview, it just motivates me to actually write one. I'm very happy with the tent and plan to buy another Ultra Yield Tent. I have owned a couple of others and this one is superior. Particularly if you're a new grower, do not underestimate your need for the added height. You will thank me later! Anyway, it's well-constructed, instructions were fairly Bland, but self-explanatory. There are a couple of poles that have the same design, but are numbered differently. They had put too many of one and not enough of another in into the kit, but it all worked out. I don't really care whether they have the right numbers on them or not. Anyway, if you are considering buying an ultra yield tent, I highly recommend you do so. It's definitely worth the extra money spent and cheaper than buying that big super-expensive brand.... Enjoy and happy growing! P.S. Unless you are confident in exactly what you need, buy a bigger tent than you think you will need. Space is ALWAYS at a premium. ... show more

    • Assembly instructions suck

Ive put a few tents together, one thing seems certain, the bigger they are, the harder to assemble. I am taking a break from the hours long assembly to write this. The instructions SUCK. I got the 8x8 tent and it has u assemble the frame first, then somehow u are supposed to move the huge 64sqft 50lbs bottom canvas under the frame. Now, if u are doing this in a 300sqft room that might be easy. But i, like most tenters, barely have enough space for the tent. Im erecting an 8x8 tent in a 10x10 space. It would have been MUCH easier to put the base down FIRST and then assemble the frame inside the already layed out base. But i followed the instructions which tell you to assemble the frame and then somehow wrestle the canvas under the assembled frame. I managed to do it, but its NOT easy. The manufacture oughta revise the assembly process to reflect this review. That being said, the tent so far seems pretty sturdy, the parts fit together nicely, no tears in the canvas, zippers are tight, and the canvas is thick and heavy ... show more

So far so good. Got this tent to dry outdoor crop it’s worked well put two 8 inch AC fans. Make sure when you start to put it together you determine where the windows or vents will be I had it half way together and realized it was not the direction I wanted and doing it solo was kinda struggle with the frame already built there’s no Instructions really just a couple of small pictures but once you get the bottom situated and stsrt seeing how it zips together it goes quick would of been quick if I’d of caught the direction of doors first. It was bigger than i imagined and seems to be well built with double layered vents heavy duty zippers and is pretty much a black out when closed I have a led in same room and I’ve yet to see any light leaks when inside zipped up. The 8inch fans seem to work well as far as sucking in or blowing out the walls. Also make sure the small vents are on the bottom they were confusing at first I thought they were the veiwing windows but those aren’t vented and are bigger. Cheers ... show more

    • Every piece of framing has bent

At first I was excited, and hopeful. That was the first 10 minutes. After setting up (which takes 2 people at least) . The instructions are literally horrible. Listed as frame part #1, only 2 included and found out frame bar #2 is the same size. So just used the extras. Setting up was a nightmare. Once set up a frame piece was bent already. Figured whatever ... it’ll be okay. Fast forward .... I took the tent down ONE time, and set back up. I Stored it in a temperature controlled garage. I currently have 9 frame posts that are bent, and 3 corners that are completely broken. I’m literally putting the weight of 11lb LED’s (3) and that’s ALL! Beware, getting ahold of company is impossible, would rather of spent extra to buy a gorilla tent. Very very upset. ... show more

    • Sturdy and easy to assemble

This tent is VERY easy to assemble. I LOVE the +12" extension AND it is already in place so nothing special to do during setup. The tubing size is larger and more sturdy than other tents I have. The canvas and reflective inside lining are good quality too. I am not a "speed" zipper and I haven't had any issues with them. I would like to have small "sub-doors" in the front so I don't have to open a main flap to get in but outside of that I am VERY happy with this product! ... show more

This size fits my 4 by 8 tray very nice and the extra foot was needed for my three 1000hps with a 125gl reservoir under my tray. Two things not so great are the price and the zipper quality and stitching quality I think should be better considering it’s one of the most expensive tents per square foot on the market.Mahalo from Maui ... show more
