Description

Why did I only receive part of the shipment? This product ships in three separate boxes and may arrive at different times. Please wait for both before setup. Can one person install it alone, or is a team required? This spacious greenhouse requires at least two people for assembly. While installation may take some time and patience, the end result is well worth the effort. Why don’t the panels, tubes, or other parts align properly during assembly? Misalignment is often due to uneven ground or incorrect assembly order. Build on a flat surface, keep screws loose for adjustment, and tighten them after proper alignment. Feel free to reach out to us with photos if the issue continues. Can this greenhouse be installed in windy or rainy conditions? It is not recommended to install the greenhouse in strong winds or heavy rain, as this may affect the stability and safety of the structure. • Sturdy and Beautiful
Cover material: 6mm PC Panels Size: 14x9.5x9 FT
There was some minor damage due to delivery, but Customer Service fixed the problem immediately. They really stood by their product and were very responsive to my emails. I was impressed. The greenhouse itself is beautiful. The ad says it takes 12 hours for 3 DIY Enthusiasts, but it took 25 hours for two old people. Arthritis sucks. The instructions could have been more precise. Mostly it used pictures to show you how to place each channel, and the illustrations weren't always enough to get it right the first time. You could anchor the building either into the earth or on a raised surface. We built a wood deck for the greenhouse to keep it off the dirt and bolted it into the wood directly. I think it'll be much more secure this way. Once you have the base in (and squared), the rest goes up pretty easily. It's intimidating to see so many parts, but I can assure you, they do bolt together perfectly. I laid out all the channel into groups so I could find each number as we needed it. It helps to be meticulous in following directions. The only thing I didn't like about this kit was the way the windows locked down. I think that could've been designed more efficiently. But the rest of the kit was very nice, and the seller was supportive. I've looked at many different greenhouses. A ready made one was out of my price range, and kits varied greatly. Most were flimsy, but this one was sturdy as soon as the cross braces were in. We're currently experiencing 25mph winds, and you don't feel a thing inside the greenhouse. If you're looking for a well made greenhouse, I can recommend this one. The price is very good for the quality. ... show more

  • Just take your time and you will have an awesome greenhouse.
Cover material: 6mm PC Panels Size: 14x9.5x9 FT
First let me say that I am disappointed to not attach pictures of my beautiful greenhouse, but AMAZON requires that you give them the ability to access ALL of your photos and that is a big HECK NO for me. So, it was an adventure. We live in south Texas so between the extreme heat, humidity and tropical storms it took several weeks to complete. I can tell you the more slowly we took it, the instructions became much easier to understand. No problem with the instructions. My husband and I built this greenhouse. Neither of us are in the building industry. FIRST::::: I laid one of the large packaging cardboard pieces on the grass and separated, inventoried all of the metal parts. I laid the parts out by numbers leaving a foot of cardboard at the bottom to label and quantity of each part (example: 102a (6), 102b (4), up to 128 a, b, etc). This made it extremely easy to find the part and confirm all was there. There are a LOT of pieces. It looks overwhelming at fist, but when breaking it down into manageable steps it is sooo much easier. There is a small white label on each part. On the small bags, the white label is there, but the numbers are inside, just look, it's there. I put the bolts/screws into disposable containers and labeled the lid with a marker. SECOND::: Measure, remeasure and use a leveler to make sure the base is square, and level BEFORE you begin, this is very, very important. THIRD::: Try to get as many of the sides put up as possible on day 1. I read the instructions and laid out the parts on each side at every step to make it smoother for my husband. FORTH:::: I built the roof inside our garage and we carried it out (just him and I), lifted it up and placed it on the frame, as close as possible, to be able to connect and secure. This worked out sooo well. I couldn't imagine trying to build it on site. FIFTH::: Only remove the protective covers on the poly carbonate sheets just before you slide them in place, as the white side goes out. Sliding is much easier. We found that some of the vertical side metal pieces had to be readjusted to make it stay square and be able for the poly carbonate panel to slide in and fit. SIXTH:::: You will end up drilling some holes into the metal pieces, some are not pre drilled and a few just does not line up. No worries. SEVENTH:::: You have already built the windows and doors ( I did by myself), so that is the final step. Having made sure it's level and square will make this a breeze. Attach the down spouts (which it rained yesterday, I used a 5 gal pail at two of the sides and got at least 4 inches of water in each one!!) Given how we made the base, 4x6 treated wood it appeared we needed a different part to secure (D308), but in the end we made it work with what we had. D308 does not come with the unit, it is an alternative part to secure the base. One door attachment, the lock/hook was broke off. I though I could just replace it, but the part is not screwed onto the metal (riveted), so a new part would have to be sent. The seller offered fair compensation for us to fix it ourselves, which we agreed to. Amazingly we were not short ANY part. Of all of the pieces to put this together, they we ALL there !!!! The greenhouse is strong when completed. So, just looking at a few parts and thinking this is going to be a flimsy set up, don't judge until it's done. It is so satisfying to look at and begin to organize. The seller was easy to contact and they responded within 24 hrs. Overall I am just as happy as can be. Enjoy your journey ! ... show more

  • Our greenhouse
Cover material: 6mm PC Panels Size: 14x9.5x9 FT
I bought this for my wife after a friend had purchased a similar one. He did warn me the instructions aren't the best and it's difficult to build alone. After I made the purchase, and before I built mine, we had a wind storm and his greenhouse was absolutely destroyed. I believe he only used the provided ground anchors which aren't very long and I wouldn't recommend. They also left their doors open which caused an umbrella effect during the storm. I built a deck to mount mine on top off and bought 6" lag bolts to anchor to deck joists. At first I was really worried about if this thing could survive any sort of wind with how flimsy it was during the build but be patient. Once everything is connected with walls and roof, and tightened, the structure becomes more solid. We've had several windy days with strong gusts since it's been built, and so far no issues. My wife loves it! Pros: Its big and definitely gets hot when sun is out. There have been really cold days (30s) and it can be mid 50s inside if sun is out. Cons: Lots of parts come in the 3 boxes and it's helpful to have a few people to assist, especially when putting up the walls. The instructions are practically just pictures to follow and sometimes hard to see the details you need. I put a few wall braces upside down because of this and had to back track to fix. The gutters have gaps in the seam that I haven't been able to get sealed properly. Not sure if I need to loosen up 100 of the screws first and then see if they connect or what. Some of the panels are a pain to slide in the rails if shipping caused any subtle bends in the channels. The panels are also very sharp on edges so wear good gloves! ... show more

  • The ultimate sun lovers paradise
Cover material: 6mm PC Panels Size: 14x9.5x9 FT
I am incredibly happy and impressed with the greenhouse. I live in michigan where we get quite a bit of snow and wind, the steadiness and stability and wind resistance has stood up to it all since we put it up last July and we are almost almost through the winter. In the summer on a full sun day it can get very warm in there but the cross breeze from windows and the doors being able to latch open really help and i did add a shade cloth later in the summer as well. On cold winter days when the sun is out even when it is only 15 degree outside it can get up to 81 degrees making it a slice of heaven during the dreary winter months. Many people have complained about the instruction quality, i have two people helping for most of the day and an additional person (4 of us total) and we were able to get it completely up in one day taking less than 10 hours. When you get to the roof read the instructions carefully there are some points where bolts must go in first and then be taken out when more supports are added. Also there is a interior and exterior side to the poly sheets. Overall, I am super pleased with this product and the size. ... show more

  • Disappointed overall - poor instructions really ruined it
Cover material: 6mm PC Panels Size: 14x9.5x9 FT
Directions are a nightmare!!!! If they would give you orientation details, it might make more sense. We had to take pieces apart too many times to correct an error. This resulted in getting the orientation of panels messed up at least a few times. Even simple clarifications about using preinstalled screws would have helped. I thought I was pretty good at following directions, but not this time. Window panels were also very tough to sit correctly, and they are very lose, making sealing with silicone very difficult. I ended up adding 3/8 inch baker rod to tighten the windows up so they could be sealed. Looks great, but unsure how getting the panel orientation messed up will affect functionality. If I had known, I wouldn’t do it again. ... show more

  • Do not buy
Cover material: 6mm PC Panels Size: 14x9.5x9 FT
Ive had this up for 1.5 years. The assembly instructions were bad. The hardware inside is now rusted through. The panels are cracking and crazing from sun exposure. Anything above a light breeze shakes and rattles the entire thing. Invest your thousand dollars on something that will last a bit longer. ... show more

  • Absolutely awesome
Cover material: 6mm PC Panels Size: 14x9.5x9 FT
There is absolutely nothing bad about the product. The boxes came with everything included. Quality and precision are amazing! What really impressed me was that most of the metal parts was wrapped in individual plastic. On top of that each part had its own plastic tape protecting it (you need to pull it off before using it). Now for the only negatives: Anything larger than a 12x12 foot requires special permits (e.g. for North Carolina). When I asked the company's help line about the documentation needed for the permit (e.g. health, structural etc.) they had no clue what I was referring too or wanted to help). Also, the windows are on the side, (not in the roof) so cooling it in the summer may be a concern. Lastly, the plastic siding is open on the top and bottom and unless you seal it will silicon it will have condensation in it over time (likely going green over time). Seems to be the case with most of these cheaper greenhouses that are online. My suggestion is having 2 people install it. I did it by myself and putting the roof up alone was a tad difficult. I would also look into automatic window openers, the product they recommend in the manual is just impossible to find online. Overall, fantastic product and I highly recommend it for the price. ... show more

I’ve had other greenhouses but this is the first hard sided one. I absolutely love it. It’s very sturdy made. I’m an avid gardener and have it packed. My plants are doing so well in it. It’s much easier to heat and I feel like they get more sun. My friend help me assemble it and it was a little challenging but doable. Very worth the effort! It’s beautiful from the inside and out. I highly recommend it! My plants is to use it as a sunroom in the summer months. ... show more
