  • Ultrasonic Pest Repeller: Mixed Results, But Still an Effective Solution
When it comes to keeping pesky bugs at bay, the Ultrasonic Pest Repeller initially seemed like a promising solution for my home. While my experience with this device has had its ups and downs, I must admit that it has made a noticeable difference in controlling the bug population, especially when compared to the nightmare we faced a year ago. Let's start with the positives. Upon initially using the Ultrasonic Pest Repeller, I was amazed by its ability to deter unwanted pests. The device emits ultrasonic waves that are said to repel roaches, rodents, mice, bugs, mosquitoes, and spiders. For a while, it seemed like the repeller was doing its job effectively, as we noticed a significant reduction in the number of bugs roaming around our home. It provided a sense of relief, knowing that we had an extra line of defense against these unwanted intruders. However, over time, I began to notice a few bugs making their way back into our living space. Naturally, this raised some doubts about the effectiveness of the Ultrasonic Pest Repeller. It's worth mentioning that while the repeller did not completely eliminate the presence of bugs, it did significantly reduce their numbers compared to the pest problem we faced a year ago. So, in that sense, it did help us manage the situation to a great extent. Now, here comes the interesting part of my experience. A few weeks ago, we suddenly had an influx of bugs in our home, leaving me completely puzzled. I couldn't understand how this was happening when I believed the pest repeller was diligently doing its job. To my surprise, upon investigating the matter, I discovered that the repeller was not plugged in that day—my mom had forgotten to turn it on. That incident served as a wake-up call, reminding me of the difference the device had made when it was actively working. In conclusion, while the Ultrasonic Pest Repeller may not provide foolproof protection against bugs, it has undeniably helped in controlling their population, especially in comparison to the bug problem we faced before using the device. It serves as an additional tool in our pest management arsenal, working alongside other preventive measures. However, it's important to ensure that the repeller is plugged in and activated consistently for optimal results. ... show more

  • On the Fenceg
On the fence on these. Only because I still have some Daddy Longlegs spiders and intermittent ants in my apartment. And I also had a big Asian water bug/roach in my kitchen. Disclaimer: I live in a garage that was converted into a one bedroom apartment. I had one mouse that was caught with a dab of peanut butter in a conventional mouse trap, right before I purchased these. No mice since plugging 3 of these in 3 different areas. Are the spiders “trying to get out”? I don’t know. I am kind of an arachnophobe, so not thrilled I still have 4 or 5 camped around the place (that I know of) I also liberally sprayed insect spray around the place (not yet in the places I’ve seen these spiders) Could be worse, maybe. I’ve had a scorpion, a black widow spider, and a huge paper wasp before plugging these in, frikkin’ Wild Kingdom! I killed the scorpion and black widow spider and the wasp found its way out through an opening to the attic, I suspect. I was ranching quite a few spiders that came out from behind the washer and dryer. OMG! Going to move in September, so I just have to make it til then in this place. ... show more

  • MICE AND RATS…GONE! But!!!!
1. So, I ordered this product because mice and rats have eaten through the walls and cement in my apartment. Gotten on the counters and stove. Most disgusting thing in the world and no amount of cleaning or filling the holes with wire and sealing helped. 2. I installed all 6 in my apartment the same day I received them. All six are on the first setting even though I don’t have pets, but I work from home. So far, no mice or rats! 3. There are no reviews on the odor that comes from the units, so hopefully this will help others. I have 2 in the living room at floor level. 2 in the bedroom at floor level and 2 in the kitchen, one at floor level by the stove and one next to the microwave on the counter. There is a noticeable order that comes from the units. I noticed it in the kitchen first. It’s not bad, but it does smell like the apartment has been exterminated. 4. I live in Philadelphia, PA so I’d rather open a window or two than not have these. Unfortunately we are on a code red for air quality due to wild fires spreading from Canada. This product works better than I could hope for and with a clean kitchen I would give 10 stars if I could! Thank You! ... show more

  • It really works!!!
Ever since I moved (3y) in the apartment had similar devices plugged in the living room and kitchen. The owners didn't tell me though how long they would last. So out of nowhere I just started seeing a lot of roaches and smaller bugs. It was horrible! I tried a poison and a trap but they kept coming. Until I realized the old devices must not be working anymore. So I got these instead and less than a week after plugging them in everywhere I saw a big drop in how many roaches I saw. And now I have been completely bug free for quite some time. I am so relieved, I cannot believe I didn't think of this sooner. To mention: I have a dog, and I have to keep the device on the first level, the other one makes quite a loud and disturbing noise, the dog goes crazy. But even with level 1 the pests are still at bay. ... show more

  • This product works!
So My house backs up the the wood line and critters usually comes into the house. I got these, plugged into the socket and haven't seen any spiders or mice since. I don't hear any kind of noise coming from the unit. I'm very pleased with this and glad I gave it a try.

  • Can the sound mortally disable a rat?
Bought it a couple of days ago and set it up yesterday. Turned on maximum. Woke up and found brown droplets near the location of the sonic device. Not sure what it was. Later that night I found a nest of new baby rodents surrounding a dead mother rat. It was just about 20 feet from the device just off my patio about 3.5 feet down. I used no poison at all. Just this device and peppermint oil. Can this device do that? ... show more
