We see some spiders and ants in our basement time to time and we didn't want to use pesticide indoor since the chemical can be harmful to touch as well as inhale when the mist is in the air. We don't mind using the pesticide outside or in our yard but we are really against using any harsh chemicals inside the house due to our kids and pets. Well, this is as natural as it can get as it only has Peppermint oil, Castor Oil and Distilled Water. It has very strong Peppermint scent, which we all love and don't mind at all. It almost acts as air freshener for the basement! We spray this around the cracks and corners where insects maybe traveling and hiding. We thought this spray was more like a repellent with strong Peppermint scent but I was pleasantly surprised to see a spider die when I sprayed this on it. I guess it also kills on contact. The spray nozzle can be turned to close, mist spray or jet stream. Highly recommend it for indoor use, especially around kids and pets!
