I bought this humidifier about a year ago. I live in New England and in the winter our forced hot air heat makes the air in our house painfully dry. I have sensitive sinuses and a lack of moisture causes irritation that leads to migraines, so I’m serious about humidifiers. We have small units in bedrooms, but our open concept living space needed humidity and I didn’t want to be bothered with repeatedly refilling multiple small tanks so I’ve been using this 8L one for the first floor kitchen/dining/living room. If I really needed to keep the entire space at 50% humidity, I would probably need to run two, but just running this one constantly at full output is enough to keep the air comfortable when the heat is running a lot, and will get to my 50% shutoff on warmer days when the heat isn’t working so hard. Running at full capacity means I refill 8L every 24 hours or so. I have not used the WiFi/app feature of this as it hasn’t been necessary, it’s simple enough to just press the button and go. I appreciate the minimal floor space this requires, and it is pretty sleek and unobtrusive in my space. It does make a series of beeps when it runs out of water which is helpful. The UV light is very helpful in minimizing bacteria growth and scum in the main tank, but don’t forget to empty and clean the upper tank regularly as you would with any other humidifier. It does its job well with minimal attention from me, which is exactly what I want. After using this last winter it was put away for several months then brought out again in December. It started right up and ran for a couple weeks just fine, and then abruptly quit working and just emitted tiny pulsing squeaks and flashes of the UV light. Upon further inspection I found that the housing right along the edge of the ultrasonic emitter had cracked, presumably letting water into the electronic parts and causing a short. I contacted the seller with this information and they IMMEDIATELY shipped me a new unit. I was very impressed and also very happy to continue being able to use a humidifier that has been working well for me rather than going through the process of picking out a new one. I’m optimistic the flaw in my first one was atypical and that this one will last several years.

The media could not be loaded. First and foremost, this is a high capacity humidifier that does its job. Since I live in the northeast with extremely dry winters, I have been running through the full capacity of this humidifier about once a day. It is also easy to fill, only requiring that you dump water into the top portion of the humidifier that will sink down to the lower portion rather than having to lug around a heavy water tank. It has the necessary features, such as setting it to a specific room humidity, or just to adjust the amount of mist, and it is easy to navigate the settings on the machine itself as you can see in the video. Just a twist of the knob to select a setting and then a push of the button to choose the setting you would like to change. It comes with a remote, WiFi connectivity and an app, but I honestly haven’t even bothered to try using any of them. This machine does what I need it to do without any of the extra accoutrements. There does seem to be some moisture getting inside of the screen which is obscuring the digital display after a couple weeks of consistent use, so we will see how that goes. But so far, this has been an absolute lifesaver for this dry season and hopefully will for many more to come.

Worked for 3 months, stopped working after sitting through summer. When it worked it was great, kept humidity well, had a large enough tank to last a day or 2. App connectivity was ok. No longer produces mist, simply shoots up a thick water stream, so nebulizer disk has kicked the bucket after less then a year. Can not recommend.

Stopped after one week. Worked great the first week. I had been using individual work humidifiers in two rooms. Plan was to just use this one, instead. I live in dry non-humid climate and have begun having medical issues in winter. My humidity is usually in 20's inside. I was trying to get to 50% inside. Says needs water, but I just refilled. I only use distilled water thus far. I hadn't' tried sleep mode. It's already very quiet and I am a very light sleeper! Have begun return/exchange process so will advise if there is an issue as it is reading 88% (not true) and stopped humidifying completely. Meanwhile, I was up to 44% but am dropping down--waiting for another unit. Trying to exchange, not return. Received a new one and returned broken humidifier yesterday. All good, so far. However, even though Kohls returned via replacement sticke, the manufacturer is still sending me reminders to return. Appreciate the new product, have increased the star. It works great thus far, however has a design flaw. The pump hangs on bottom of a water tube. Has 4 suction cups to supposedly self attach to bottom. However my water tube too short to reach bottom. They ask you to push down on it, but you cannot put arm in machine with the pump devise to push it (even if the tube were long enough). Hoping pumps stays hanging on tube. Also, instructions have no chart explaining codes or possible troubleshooting recommendations. At least the digital read is within 4% of actual humidity. Maybe accurate at machine, but not 3 ft away. Also, water level indicator very difficult to read, even with flashlight. Husband has overfilled 3 times in on week, causing leakage. Needs improvement. Suggest setting it a little higher for home. 🤞 Nice, quiet operation thus far. Will advise if any changes.
