The two different frequency settings and the degass feature make this product stand out. Surprisingly to me, the 28/khz setting was more aggressive. This unit was a little larger than I expected, but that's probably a good thing. I bought this to clean the wheels on model trains, and it cleaned the metal ones perfectly. The plastic wheels not so much, but I have to fool around with that. The screen enclosure ball was a nice surprise, It may have been mentioned in the ad, but I didn't notice it. It was very helpful with the small train wheels. The unit did have a strong odor when I opened it, but it was gone after a couple of cycles with a water / dish soap mix. ( I thought that was going to be a "Home Alone" scene with suds all over, but it ran fine. I did a test on a quarter that had a great deal of gunk on it. The degass cycle took care of it in about 25 minutes. Most of it turned out to be antique gum. Now it's antique GONE.

Unit works excellent on brass cases utilizing 1/2 cup of Lemi-Shine, tablespoon of Dawn Platinum and distilled water to fill line. Rinse well with water - set out to dry or use Lyman case dryer. ATTENTION RELOADERS be prepared to craft a screen insert for 9mm cases. The holes on the OEM basket are too large and cases fall through. I purchased 1/8” stainless screen and quickly fashioned a drop in solution (1/8” basket within the OEM basket. 1/8’ basket is not needed for .223 or 10mm cases

Have used it a lot since purchase and am satisfied with it... It does take a while to heat up however and seems a little weak but works great for our applications.

Initially I was quite impressed with the features this ultrasonic cleaner came with for the price. I think bang for buck you'll be hard pressed to find a better deal, although the shown temperature didn't match my thermometer and was off by 6 degrees (sorry, didn't take a picture at the time as it wasn't a deal breaker for me and the other concerns completely eliminated this one). However, the quality control standards at this company are, in my opinion, completely unacceptable. Communicating with them just as bad. As you can see in the pictures here, there was some sort of biological fleshy substance in the ball drain valve. I repeatedly reached out to the company asking them to explain what it was and how to deal with it but when I sent attached pictures via email they said they're unable to receive pictures at their email and that there was no other way for me to share the information with them. Instead I could just return the product, which I did, and have included the pictures here for your benefit as well as theirs. This sonicator was to be intended for use with food products, so an issue like this is totally unacceptable to me or my customers. I'm sure this isn't an issue with every unit but this blatant lack of quality control makes me hesitant to give them another chance.

Unexpectedly good quality for a $100+ unit. Works like a charm. The 400W heater on this unit is a must-have compared to the 200W heaters on most other cleaners in this size; unit can maintain 45C with ease and doesn't take hours to heat up

Ok, y'all paranoid people worrying about the "gunk" in the drain (I was unsure before I got mine as well) it is oil & shavings from threading , cutting & assembly. . Heats up fairly quick, note if you set for 30 and run more then 10 min it will be 40 by the time the cycle is done as the process of ultrasonic cleaning generates heat it self . Unit Comes with a threaded adapter for the drain allong with about 24" of tubing . Large mesh basket and a small one for rings and Jewelry Large basket is of just ok quality I expect the legs on the bottom to break off within 6 months of heavy use I use mine to clean rocks between stages of my rock Tumbling For all the features and size it is a decent price Has 3 sonic inducers I have only quickly tried the 28hz But have ran a few 40hz cycles and a degas

Unit works great but only has 1/2 timer. You have to make sure to keep track and reset or it just shuts off. Takes a long time to warm water out of the tap.
