I've only used it once and the jewelry does get shinier. It's not expensive and if you have a lot of jewelry, this product is perfect for you. It's very easy to just follow the instructions that come with it!

This did not work at all! I saw all the other reviews and was very excited to have a professional clean for my jewelry at home but, this was a total let down. I turned it on and it made a sound as though it was working, but when I peaked inside, the water was perfectly still and nothing was happening. Total waste of money!

This is a great ultrasonic cleaner. My partner and I are avid hikers and backpackers. We also both run and workout. All of these things make your glasses extremely dirty and sweat covered. It is difficult to get them clean with traditional glass wipes and spray. This sonic cleaner is super easy to use. Just fill with water to the fill line, plug in the usb cord, add glasses or jewelry and push the button. In three minutes everything comes out perfectly clean. It comes with a basket that even has a large clip to hold your glasses in place. my only complaint is the on switch is a bit temperamental. Most of the time it turns on without difficulty, but sometimes it is a struggle to get to turn on.

First of all, it's an impressive size, powerful and efficient, can easily handle any time setting you choose and multiple uses without overheating like others, and it's inexpensive for such a reliable quality ultrasonic cleaner. I was looking for a smaller sized ultrasonic cleaner and thought this might be helpful. This requires a 9 volt power supply that can supply 2 amps, but it only comes with a USB cord and no power block. USB voltage is usually 5 volts so this will not work well with a standard USB port or charger, and I could not find a 9V/2A USB power block online easily, but luckily I have a variable 3A supply with the proper adapter. I filled the device with water and turned it on, and I could hear a clicking noise and see some vibration so I knew it was receiving power, but there is a test that you can do with ultrasonic cleaners which I did. You place a sheet of aluminum foil inside and it should perforate the foil where cleaning is most effective. This allows you to look for "hot" spots and weak spots. The foil was not perforated at all after 2 complete cycles but I have 2 other ultrasonic cleaners that are strong enough to pass the test. One is 2.5 gallons so it's just less convenient for small jobs, and the other is made for dental retainers and has UV sterilization which cures the resin before I want it to, so I really wanted a mid-sized unit without UV to wash 3D prints. The results of the test showed a spot near the center that looked a little wavy but it did not break through the foil so the power just is not adequate. Another use for ultrasonic cleaners is to de-gas fluids, and I could see there were some bubble clinging to the sides of the tub from a fresh fill, and they were vibrating, but it was not powerful enough to eliminate all of the bubbles. I'm sad to say this cleaner is not very effective. It might knock some chunks of dirt loose from vibration, but the mechanism of ultrasonic cleaning is to produce microscopic cavitation bubbles that appear and implode on the surface of the item which break away debris. I can probably still use this to wash my 3D resin prints, but I don't think it's much more effective than swirling them around in a bowl for a few minutes. Other than that, it looks nice and I appreciate the timer feature, thanks.
