Fairly quiet, and does a great job cleaning jewelry and other items. I usually run mine for the full 30 minutes to get everything very clean, with water and a cap of concentrated jewelry cleaner. I bought this to clean flux off of PCBs. To use it, I fill it about halfway with rubbing alcohol (just the normal stuff from the grocery store, 91% isopropyl alcohol), drop in a board, and set it for five minutes. If the flux is still wet then it all comes off perfectly. With older boards where the flux is a bit gooey (made before I bought this, initially cleaned with a toothbrush like a pleb) it will still come off but may take 2-3 cycles. Under a microscope everything looks perfect though. You'll also want a funnel to put the alcohol back in the bottle (if you leave it in the machine it'll evaporate), but other than that, the machine is small and easy to store, and uses a standard power cable so you don't need to store the cable with the machine. It does what it's supposed to do. I did not like the soft touch buttons and the display is a little hard to figure out. Not impossible, but it takes a few tries until you get used to it. This is exactly what you need for non-professional small parts cleaning. I use it for fountain pen parts and ink brushes. It is mildly convenient for brushes but very convenient for small pen parts like piston fillers.

I’ve been in 💎Jeweler💎 for over 25 years. My secret cleaning recipe is 25%, 🍋 , fresh ammonia, 25%, 🍋 , Mr. clean and the other 50% hot 🔥water. Remove your items place them on a towel and blow dryer to remove water spots.
