This chair did not come with any set up instructions so we hope we have a safe product and haven't missed anything important. It should also have come with any safety suggestions, tips for use and a warranty. We like the chair but are disappointed with the lack of information.

All parts that can be tighten, should be checked and maintained often. I was unaware A bolt loosen and was lost. The chair folded up and colapsed to the side. Although she was buckled she fell with the chair. Ended up with a broken knee, wrist injury and head injury. Stop at hardware and replace with temporary screw. This chair should have come with the warning this could happen. Good for pushing on flat surface, don't use on Handicap ramps it's also not safe. ... show more

This transport chair is very portable and easy to store . It is lightweight and folded up has a pull up handle for toting like a rolling suitcase. I like that the foot rest is one piece for both feet and it also folds up when not needed or when storing to take up less space. The shock absorbers are a little stiff and may however loosen up some over time . The front caster wheels and large rear wheels make mobility smooth and easy. The seat and backing are smooth and have a nice feel to it however its only about 3/8 on an inch thick and may hurt if you stay on it for any extended period of time. The carbon finish on the main part of the frame is impressive looking. I like that both arm rests can be raised up and out of the way for transferring on or off the transport chair. I found turning the brake handles to be able to stand and use it as a walker both a little difficult and as a walker without a person on it would tend to tip up. I do like it overall and believe its a very nice , portable , lightweight transport chair both for the person in need and to put in a vehicle for transporting that person at another location. The handles, though ergonomically designed, could benefit from some adjustability. As someone relatively tall, I found myself bending slightly to push the chair, which can become uncomfortable during longer strolls. Aesthetically, the chair has a modern, non-clinical appearance, which is a refreshing change from many other models on the market.
