I ordered this Ultimea Apollo S90 soundbar system in early October 2025. The unit was well packaged with all items in their own bags, resting tightly in a tray of foam. The box was strong and packed inside a shipping box. The soundbar and surround speakers are plastic cased with shiny surfaces. The instruction manual is well written. The cabling is color coded defined for easy connectivity. The unit is designed for multiple setup configurations. LF & RF speakers can be attached to the soundbar by simply twisting them on each end, sat on a shelf or or you can hang it on your wall with included mounting brackets. The surround speakers can be placed on a shelf or hung from the wall also. Cabling is provided for each scenario. Overall it is well designed and sounds equally well. Very good system for a medium sized room. The app enables versatile adjustments. The subwoofer is Bluetooth and powers the surround speakers. There is even LEDs on the rear of each of the speaker units and on the bottom of the subwoofer which displays a light show if desired. If the light show is not your thing, you can shut it off. I did have a problem with the subwoofer. On Oct 22nd, the subwoofer failed to operate (rear surround speakers continued to operate). I contacted Ultimea Customer Service the next day informing them of the situation. Their Customer Service Representatives are very courteous, listened to my problem and worked diligently to rectify the situation. They provided me with a return label and asked me to box it up and ship it back at no cost to me. Once they received the return (which was on the return on Nov 3rd), they initiated the shipment of a replacement system. I received the replacement Nov 6th. It is in place right now and sounds great. Great customer service! If you are looking for a soundbar system with Dolby Atmos surround for a medium sized room (we have ours in our dining room attached to a 50" TV), I recommend this one. I kept the 5 stars, even though the subwoofer quit, because of the great customer service and I want to include the warehousing folks that worked to pack the replacement and ship it to me very quickly. Overall this is a great surround sound for the price. It really feels immersive, the sounds are clear, bass is more than enough — even turned down, lights are cool and add a fun vibe, and set up was a breeze. Couple of minor changes would take this from a 4 to a 5 ⭐️ review: 1. Occasional connectivity issue when initially turning the tv on. Have to turn the tv off, wait a few seconds for the sound bar to turn off, then turn it back on. 2. There is no way to adjust the sound sync on the remote, nor the app. Luckily I was able to do it from the fire stick settings. Fix those to really take this system up a notch. Disclaimer, my husband used to be a roadie so he’s a wiz at this kind of thing, but watching him set it up seemed pretty easy. The sound is great. We had bought another brand and returned it, but this one works perfectly for our new ridiculously huge tv. Since our tv is so large we couldn’t put a big sound bar above or below it so we bought this because the bar can be taken apart and stood up at each side of the tv. We love it. I felt the bass! No really very good quality, easy to set up, clear instructions if you need them. The quality of the sound exceeded my expectations. Now it's the shows or movies that are slacking. Within a week after my 30 day return policy, the subwoofer and reciever stopped communicating. So no bass and no surround. Contacted customer service 5 times with no response. Finally after getting someone (extremely broken english) they said I gave them the wrong email. After straightening that issue. They sent an email requesting video evidence. Proof of purchase. And an explanation. Ive provided all info. No responses. 10 emails, still no response. I called customer service finally got through only to have some guy snickering saying he cant hear me and to please contact ultimea.com. this company is horrible. It was a very cheap system that when working was fantastic. But I guess u get what u pay for and now im just screwed out of my money and this terrible company has quit responding to me. I honestly dont know what options I have as a customer. Very dissatisfied New update 7/26....after fighting with this terrible customer service this company provides they finally sent a new unit around the end of February 26. As of last week in July 26 the brand new system is doing exactly the same thing the 1st one did. This is absolutely terrible. I feel like such a push over that companies can do this now and get away with it. So after my original purchase with a year warranty its failed twice. Purchased a new unit and waited weeks do to being out of stock. When it arrived, on of the speakers was dirty inside the sealed bag (which you could tell had been previously opened) and had light scratches/swirls on it. The sound seems great and you have a lot of control if you download the app. The surface is super shiny which makes them look cheap like a child's toy and they collect and show dust extremely bad. ... show more
