Has been working great for a few weeks now. It charges my Galaxy S9 through the case without problem, doesn't slouch under the weight of my phone like other vent holders I have used, and grabs the vent really well. No complaints yet!

    • Good mount, wireless charger is fickle.
I like the clamping that the vent mount uses. I had previous vent mounts that I could not mount in the center due to the clamp being too small. It is very secure in holding the phone, but the arms auto retract and do not lock in one place(unless I'm using it wrong and haven't figured it out). This means that you cannot push the phone in and out of the mount. without a proper cradle, you have to finagle with your phone to make sure you get it in the sweet spot to allow for wireless charging. Please note that I have an Otterbox case on my Galaxy S9 so that could be a factor in how finicky the wireless charging is. Depending on the road conditions you use, bumps and vibrations may affect how well the phone charges. Note that the phone will remain held securely but may just move slightly out of place. Speaking of charging, the adapter is pretty nice. Two USB ports and the thing feels real nice and durable in quality. The knurling makes it feel like a premium device. Overall I like it though, I have never had my phone die while using this mount. If I'm a fool and just don't know how to make it so the arms lock I'll update my review. ... show more

    • Balanced grip but takes some practice
I have only used one other clip to airvent mount, but I wanted a wireless charging one. I already had a lighter to USB adapter so I haven't tried the one that was packaged with the device. The vent clip is firm but a little challenging to place onto the vent - there's a release button which you have to squeeze to slide it onto the vent. Really thin or really thick vents might have issues; I'm in a Prius and mounting the phone just above and to the left of the main screen. Once you jam it on it stays put fairly well. The grips that hold the phone are also pretty stiff - so putting the phone in the dock is a two handed operation (or you can kind of brace it, put it in at an angle, and pop it in that way, but sometimes I hit that awful bixby button and that's annoying but that's a samsung issue, not a Kenu issue). The placement to get the wireless to go seems reasonable - you have to be within a half inch or so, I would guess, but I have a basic case and the charging and grips work fine with the case. The mount will move when you put the phone in or out but so far it is keeping tension and allows the phone (Samsung G8+) to be placed. ... show more

    • Not perfect, but works.
When it clasps well on air vent ut works great but if you like to adjust your view like I do, it falls off when clasp moves. I have to make sure the clasp is gripping tight each time and careful when adjusting.

    • High quality mobile phone mount with wireless charging
I am using this product for about a week now, having moved from a dedicated Garmin Nav system to my mobile phone. Initial impressions were quite positive. Seems like very high quality materials and fit and finish, including the cable and the two port charging plug. I am mounting this on the car dash vents. There is a compression clamp which opens when pressed and clamps down on the vent slat when released. I found the attachment above average, very secure for everyday use. Much better than the clamps with preset (thick and thin) settings depending on which way you move the vertical lever, if you take my meaning. It takes some practice to center the phone in the correct position to initiate the wireless charging, but once I got it, it is very easy to replicate. (I am using a Google Android phone). A friend of mine tried it out with his iphone 10 without issue. The clamp arms are a bit stiff, but the unit is brand new. I've never used one of these before so I found myself using two hands to mount the phone, in the first few days. Eventually you get the hang of it and can mount the phone with one hand. Bottom line is that after 2 weeks of use every day, I am very happy with the operation of the unit. Keep in mind that there are cheaper units with IR sensors included which auto open the clamp arms. I can see some benefit to this advance feature. However, i didn't want to deal with the clamp arms or internal gears failing and not being able to hold the phone after months of use. ... show more

Very slow charging wirelessly ,, Expandable Grip too tight to put your phone in cable would be easier & faster to put and go ,, not magnetic if you want to not use the Grip ..

Pretty easy to put the phone in. Charges fast and reliably. Only issue I can think of is that compared to the non-charging Menu vent mounts, this moves a bit more when going over bumps on the road.
