    • good design, not so good materials.
Useful design, were it not for a couple of kinks: the main surface is way higher than a regular desk (they make this in order to fit the keyboard desk underneath) so keep in mind that you'll most likely have to invest in a drafting chair, which don't come cheap. Also the surface for the monitors projects about an inch above the first rack space, meaning you can't easily access whatever module you have on that spot, let alone pull it out. The other downsides are common among affordable furniture. I called Amazon Harmony to ask about the material (which they didn't have the answer for - yet the coupon they offered was much appreciated) and it turns out to be coated fiberboard. This means you have to be extra careful when assembling because screws will make the material crumble. Pre-drilled holes are just a guide... you'll need a drill. The finish scratches easily and it might even come off in chips, so be mindful when putting your gear in. Last but not least, it smells. If your studio setting is a closed space you should consider assembling it in a more airy environment, otherwise the smell might linger for several days. That being said, it serves its purpose very well... so if you can put up with the cons, it's still a good purchase. ... show more

Product came cracked on the main table and was missing screw wholes. To much of a hassle to return , would be nice if they could send me a replacement piece.

This desk came with only the legs, call center is not even available on weekends. Only one of 2 boxes was delivered. Desk his a horrible purchase

Not sure why there are so many bad reviews about missing or damaged parts. I purchased mine from B&H Photo. Came with documentation and was very well packaged. Assembly was time consuming, but it was not difficult. I built it myself, although a second person could have come in handy. The monitor riser shelf is the perfect depth and width to accommodate up to three 21" monitors. Each side of the desk has a 4RU space. Here's what I have on my desk: Left 4RU: 2RU shelf holding a low-profile desktop computer 1RU blank panel 1RU gig network switch Right 4RU: 2RU shelf holding a low-profile desktop computer 1RU blank panel 1RU ATEM TV Studio HD / Hyperdeck Studio Mini The one thing I wish the manufacturer would offer is optional caster wheel kit. I wanted to modify the desk on my own, but I was worried about structural damage to the legs as a result. Backup plan? By some furniture glides for the feet and you'll be very glad you did so. If you do have to move the desk after assembly and you do NOT have furniture glides, have a second person helping you. I'm ordering more of these, I love it that much! ... show more
