I’ve been using the one on the right for years but could never get it tight enough to keep it from moving on smaller diameter tubes. And the ball joint is tightened with a plastic nut and it doesn’t give me confidence. It will move. The Ulanzi mount is metal and it clamps tight! I’ve used their products before. This is how I mount my GoPro on my handlebars and under frame for those B Roll shots. Can’t tell you how many times I review my footage and the old mount rolled. This new one does not roll. I highly recommend this clamp mount. I do add a drop of blue Lok-Tite to the threads where the GoPro mount part screws down onto the 1/4” bolt. And…AND toss the plastic one and get a metal/aluminum one. Learned that lesson a long time ago. They will break at some point in time. But read all the features on their description. Even has a hole to thread in a 3/8th bolt. Fantastic design. This is my own review and no one paid me. I didn’t get this for free. I paid full price. ... show more

Wrote the review below and gave 2 stars. Seller contacted me and offered a full refund or replacement. I selected a replacement and it came today, a few days after talking with the seller. Thank you! Got this to use for zoom calls with family. I needed the camera to be out of the way and up high so my kids couldn't reach it. I moved it 4 or 5 times testing different spots over the course of several calls. While moving it one time the plastic handle that tightens the main clamp separated from the metal screw that tightens the clamp so that it no longer closes or opens. I can sort of get to work if I hold the plastic piece a certain way, but it's really hard to make work. I was really disappointed. It broke after such little use. It was great to be able to hook this camera on a book shelf or wall mounted TV mount. I'm reaching out to the seller hoping they can help. I will update this review if they do. ... show more

I was hired to shoot a product video of an item which, in it's vertical position, could not stand up on it's own. I needed some sort of support that had at least somewhat of a high-tech look to it. After some research, I discovered the Super Clamp. I mounted it directly to a ball head and it did exactly what I needed it to do. For $20, this thing is nice. Nice all metal parts with stainless hardware. The only plastic bit is the phone holder. The only thing I wish was the prongs of the clamp where longer so you can grip around other things. But for the price it’s a nice piece. Haven’t used it yet but it’s holds the phone in secure and the clamp can tighten pretty sold onto something. ... show more

I used this to mount my small bluetooth speaker to the Handlebars on my Fatbike... it worked perfectly !!! I can screw my speaker on and off with no issues for charging. I rate it a 9 out of 10 because it a bit expensive.

Had a hard time finding mounts with a clamp big enough to fit Factory 47 bars. I was told on forums that this clamp would slip. I found that not to be the case. I tightened it as much as I could and at 85 mph holding a selfie stick and action cam it did not move. The adjustable arm with the open edges facing both front and rear it will slowly go down. I turned the arm sideways to were the openings were left and right. the clamping plates front to rear, then it held all day at highway speed. Just bought a second one for my phone to control camera. see how that goes. ... show more
