  • Very good value and sounds great with instrument direct
Size: 1T1R-Steel
So far, so good! I just received this and tested it with an accordion and fiddle. My needs are acoustic instruments with pickups for stage performance. The 1/4" adapter works great and the system has surprisingly good sound. It's quiet, no noise. I'm replacing a $500 system that would cost almost $200 to fix! So I thought, why not try one of these, given how the technology has advanced so much in seven years? I was not disappointed. When (I hope) performances get started again in 2021, I'll order a second one of these, for redundancy. I decided against one of the competitors that come with one base station and two belt packs for the simple reason that there is a single point of failure. Owning two of these, and of course setting one to a different frequency, gives you two separate systems hence closer to 100% reliability. The system consists of a sender and receiver, both powered by rechargeable but non-changeable internal Li-ion power cells. They both are recharged with a 5W microUSB charger similar to one used by older Android phones. It would be nice if the world standardized on USB-C, or Lightning, but anyway at least they didn't choose mini-USB which is from 10 years ago. Anyway, the receiver is a mono 1/4" dongle with a short 1.5" antenna that plugs right into your mixer, powered amp, or similar. The system comes with various adapters for phones, cameras, and similar devices (dongle 1/4" to standard 3.5mm mini-stereo or headset mini-stereo). There is a lavalier microphone, a headset microphone, and a microphone on a short stalk, plus a handy phone stand and a couple of other accessories. I would suggest getting a ziplock bag or other kind of container to hold all this stuff. You can keep it in the original box, not a bad case actually since it keeps everything separate. The sender is a small box with the 3.5mm stereo input jack, an antenna, and a display. There are also arrow buttons to adjust the frequency. It is very light and has a clip, so can clip to your shirt or go in a pocket. The build feels a bit cheap -- I would be careful with plugging large adapters into the input jack because if you pressure it the wrong way it might break. Just doesn't feel as rock solid as higher end belt packs. So baby it and hopefully it will be okay for the long term. I think an improvement on the sending device would be some kind of foam rubber casing in case you drop it on concrete. It will happen. So be prepared; either put it on a lanyard so it can't fall too far, or keep it velcro'd to your instrument all the time. Anyway, baby it because this is the heart of the system and in my opinion is the most fragile. The receiver as well - treat it like a baby! This is a "just out of the box" review and it's possible I'll have more thoughts and comments later on, so I will make sure to come back and edit if needed. But for now, I can say, I am very impressed and pleased by this affordable, simple to operate wireless system. ... show more

  • A fantastic wireless mic microphone. This replaced my main camera mic after testing it out.
Size: 1T1R-Steel
If you are looking for a wireless microphone pack with versatility this is the one for you. I stress test any product and don’t endorse it unless I believe in it. For the price point I really didn’t have extremely high expectations. I have used similar wireless mics only to be disappointed. I was blown away by the sound quality and range of this little pack. I will admit I think that the lapel cable is too short but if you keep the pack in your front pocket it really isn’t bad, I am just used to my wireless pack being behind me. I was not a fan of the over the ear mic. I honestly couldn’t bring my self to use it as it wasn’t very attractive at all. But some people may like it I found myself using the lapel mic and it worked great. One of my favorite parts of this set was it came with any adaptor that you could need. For cameras, iOS, computer they really did think of it all. I did stress test the range and it did last me with great quality to about 50-60 ft. After that it was still connected just began to break up some. I believe around 75 ft it lost connection all together. I was honestly impressed. The simple fact that they are rechargeable also is a huge plus. These just became my new main mic set for videos. I loved them they are small but powerful. I could not recommend more. ... show more

  • Wireless CARDIOID Mic set for PA room speakers... Clean audio if your 2-3 inches from the mics Wireless CARDIOID Mic set for PA room speakers... Clean audio if your 2-3 inches from the mics
Size: 1T1R-Steel
UPDATED REVIEW 2020/11/9: Really clean audio using the Headset and if you keep it at about 2-3 inches from your mouth. At first I got really bad audio because of two factors: 1) of the mics were bad (replaced by the seller - thank you). 2. These microphones are all CARDIOID mics with only a 2-3 inch working distance. This would be good if I had public address room speakers to lower feedback loops and echoing. However, if you are just recording on the other side of the room and wanted wireless microphones for your Youtube videos and need a really small form factor for the transmitter and receiver, this may be the kit for you especially at under the $50 dollar range. The secret is to point the CARDIOID mics at your mouth and have it about 2-3 inches close to your mouth. The most useful is the headset mic and the handheld mic which you can position your mouth very close to the mic. The clip-on mic is pretty much worthless with low pickup volume and range. I had a OMNI mic from another mic kit used it on this kit and got great audio from the transmitter and receiver. Overall the UHF transmitter and receiver works great and has a battery life of about 4.5 hours. If they included one Omni mic they would probably get better reviews. Overall I have used this for my Youtube videos for a few weeks now and its been great being able to walk around record wirelessly. ORIGINAL Review 2020/10: 2 Stars due to bad bent mic. I just received this to find out the headset mic's jack was bent. The other 2 mics are fine. I am contacting the seller to see if they can send a replacment. Testing out the recording there is a hiss from the kit that is apparent in all frequencies. I will need to test this more to find out if this is worth it or durable. ... show more

  • Excellent product for the money
Size: 1T1R-Steel
I don't understand why anyone would give this product a low rating. I am thinking they just did not know how to use it or they just didn't read what this devices works with. It may not be for some individuals because sound is not as easy for all of us that are not in the industry but with a little time and a great attitude you get it going and then is just super simple. The sound is a very good quality for the amount of money you pay. I use it for crystal sound and youtubing and it truly captures the sound well without picking up other sounds. It may not have the volume as I would like it but this may be lack of know how on my end. I do recommend this to anyone that would like to have a more professional sound even if it is just for zoom or teams. It takes out the unwanted noises that come suddenly like dogs barking and other unpredictable situations that may arise. Don't think about it. Read the info, understand it and get it! It is a great product, well packaged and it has most of the cables you need, it even comes with a wind protector if you need to use it outside. :) ... show more

  • Headset Mic Breaks, Otherwise Great System Headset Mic Breaks, Otherwise Great System
Size: 1T1R-Steel
I'm on my third one of these. I use them for teaching line dancing in Nashville with Turn Their Heads Line Dance Lessons. The electronic parts of the system work flawlessly. The battery lasts between 4 - 8 hours on a charge. Easy to use and setup. No complaints there. The headset mics fail after about 6 months. The first point of failure is the wire where it comes out of the headset. I've been able to prolong the life by attaching the wire to the metal band that runs over your head. This stabilizes the wire and slows the failure. It may cause the wire to sit weird depending on how you wear it but it works for me since people can't see it with my cowbow hat. The other point of failure is the jack. I haven't determined a way to fix that issue. Once either failure happens, it's useless. Both failures cause random cracks and pops that are extremely loud. No Bueno. And there isn't a warning. Once it goes, it's pretty much gone, so carry a backup. The only other issue I've had is when using in places with a lot of interference from other mic systems. Usually I can switch the channel and find one that works but even then, the distance can sometimes be reduced. For the price, I don't hold that against the unit. If they could make the headset last a couple years I'd give it 5 stars. If you use your mic while sitting or use it sporadically, yours will probably last for years. For dance, aerobics, Zumba, etc, you'll want to always carry a backup or buy a more durable headset. ... show more

  • Generous accessories, better than expected Generous accessories, better than expected
Size: 1T1R-Steel
I think it's a wireless microphone system suit for "LAZY" people. It seemed to have everything I could think of ready for me. I didn't even have to buy any other accessories and it‘s cheaper than other wireless mic, which saved me a lot of energy and money. After receiving the mic, I couldn't wait to have tried out the microphone, and here are some of my thoughts to share with you. Package 5/5 All the accessories of this wireless microphone system are well arranged in a delicate package box. Inside the packing box, every accessory is separated by sponge for protection, which maximizes remain the shape of each accessory. Nice package. Accessories 5/5 I really have to compliment the seller on how thoughtful they were. They have provided us with all the accessories we need. For smart phones, they have a TRRS adapter for us; for the camera, we are equipped with TRS adapter and a tripod. There are also 3 type microphones that can help us cope with any situation with ease. Personally, I usually use a stand mic for interviews and a headset mic for presentations. Really convenient accessories! Connect Distance 5/5 The lecture hall I test is 33 feet long. When I plug the receiver into the speaker and place it at the most back of the hall, then speak from the most front, I can hear my voice clearly. So now I haven't found a distance where it will disconnect yet. Sound Quality 4/5 As far as my current using experience is concerned, I have found no problem on this wireless mic for the time being. Whether it's a live speaker or a recording on a device, there is no feedback, very less noise and the sound is clear. Better than expected. But please notice when you connect the receiver to the speaker, remeber to turn the transmitter volume down and then turn the volume up slowly. This can help avoid the noise generated at the beginning of the connection. All in all, this is a cost-effective wireless microphone system. Considering its cheap price and rich accessories, it is particularly suitable for the person new to the wireless microphone or lazy on buying accessories. Highly Recommend! ... show more

  • Looks great, performs poorly
Size: 1T1R-Steel
I purchased this unit to replace an older, failing Sennheiser unit. Given the price point, I expected some compromises but I didn't expect the frustration that I ended up with. First, the body pack looks great. It's nicely shaped, feels good in the hand and has a decent heft to it. The blue frequency indicator is friendly and easy to use. The receiver unit, however, kind of lets you know that this is not a high-end unit. The Sennheiser unit has a large base with a display that tells you it's connected, the battery state of the body pack and the signal strength. This system's receiver is a tiny cigarette lighter sized pack with a 1/4" mono plug sticking out one end. It has a blue "ON" indicator and a transmission strength indicator, but there's no frequency indicator, no strength indicator and no body pack battery state indicator. This is fine at the price point if it works, but it didn't work for me. I used this primarily with a Panasonic AV switcher for a TV studio. It's older, but it works just fine for what we do. From the first use, the sound from this system was muffled, as you would expect at the price point but then it started fuzzing in and out, as if distance was a factor. In our 15' x 10' studio, distance is not a factor. When it fuzzes out, there is no apparent signal coming from the receiver even though you can see the RX light fluttering with what you're sending from the body pack. I spent a considerable amount of time trying different ways of connecting the receiver to our board, thinking that the issue was a connector or the 1/4" in port. When I tried the unit on a small integrated amplifier with a much more straightforward interface, I got the same outcome. The problem was not a connector or adapter on the Panasonic board. It was this system. Bottom line: This may work for some, but it did not work for me. Sound that fuzzes in and out is not useful. Amazon customer service saved the day, so there is at least that part of the experience to be happy about. ... show more

  • Excellent Product For Church Services
Size: 1T1R-Steel
The product arrived as advertised from Amazon and proved to be a very effective system for use with outdoor church services being broadcast via FM transmitter, Facebook, and open audio. The pastor wore the lav mic with the fur windshield on his coat lapel which greatly reduced the wind noise otherwise present with the foam cover. The receiver was plugged directly into a Yamaha MG10XU channel and output through a FM, FCC Part 15 approved transmitter, and also through a powered speaker system. The signal remained strong and clear throughout the 1 hour service. A second set was ordered for the purpose of placing a second receiver on an iphone 6 being used simultaneously for Facebook broadcasting of the service, and to reduce the ambient noise from vehicles running near the iphone during the service. The second receiver required a simple synchronization routine provided by the seller to synch it with the transmitter of the first set, thus we have a single transmitter and two receivers functioning independently. The kit comes with a breadth of cables, a receiver holder for a camera shoe, and various mic configurations as depicted on the Amazon site. Recommended as an excellent product with excellent versatility and an excellent price. ... show more
