I use this because my laptop does not have an SD card slot any more. Also, I needed a second HDMI monitor output and this adapter works perfectly for that. Then I have a USB for my powered speakers, and another USB for charging stuff.

    • HDMI works....sometimes.
The HDMI seems to not be functioning 100%. Imagine playing resident 3 for dreamcast. Then the HDMI disconnects...it sucks. Once the HDMI connectivity is lost. It will never come back until I unplug it an reinsert, closing any programs that were running. (emulator). I purchased a 15ft HDMI to C type cable. It works without that issue. But my phone won't be about to change. I mean it's not like this device chargers either, with its weak watt output. ... show more
