This UGREEN Magnetic Phone Stand for MagSafe is a really nice upgrade for my desk setup. It instantly makes everything feel more organized and elevated compared to just laying my phone flat. The MagSafe connection is strong and attaches easily, so I don’t have to fumble with placement. I also like that it supports multiple viewing angles and can switch between vertical and horizontal orientation without any hassle. The height adjustment is useful too, especially when I want my phone at eye level during calls or while multitasking. The 360° rotation is one of my favorite features. It makes it super easy to show coworkers a video or switch angles without having to pick up my phone or move the stand itself. It feels sturdy on the desk and doesn’t slide around, which adds to the overall quality feel. Impressed with this company. Listen to the good reviews. No plastic I could feel. Plus screws are solid and metal and there is no adjustments. Solid. Has a good lift on arm raise part. Solid there. Yes you need two hands to undo the magnetic sometimes. And turning mechanism is solid. In fact I can use the thin plastic tripod I keep connected to back of of my phone with stand. However I just put the Apple magna charger on and it is not as tight. In fact it sort of repels the area that is not magnetized. I mean if you do not move or spin it is fine. But you need directly on the spot. It tends to repel a portion of it. I have it on now and I can pick up the stand with the phone. Anyhow it definitely worth it. It does come with a magnetic ring. I didn’t need it. I have a mag otterbox. The thinner ones. With the magnetic ring built in. But even the thicker otterbox would probably work on the phone without the mag charger. I have other folding stand chargers so do not need it. I wanted pure stand with ability to plug the long cords in. Do not believe those that show you the nuts and bolts fell out. Even if you hit it with a hammer you could not loosen these screws. Anyone sending pictures of such thing happening should be taken off the site. Definitely metal. I just checked the reviews again. Someone complaining about squeaking on turning mechanism. Not that it broke. He unscrewed the bottom to work on it. Something I would not bother with it. Little tight on the turning mechanism and slight squeak. Does not bother me. It turns ok, not loose. Actually do not want it too loose. Inside could have plastic inside base. I don’t take things apart. It is tighter than my iPad one I just bought through another company with Amazon. I thought he was showing broken screws. It is more money for turning mechanism but I like it. Can’t find these things in stores you shop in. Most closed down. Please do not put in reviews pictures when you take it apart. That is mis-representation.

This phone holder is adjustable and works well with MagSafe phones. It looks good on my nightstand and desk at work. It helps with charging via a separate cable while holding the phone in position. It’s easy to use but I feel the detente for rotation may get looser with use. For the price I don’t think you can beat the product and wouldn’t be horribly disappointed if it didn’t last much more than a year. It does have plastic parts so it’s not going to be really durable. The base is wide enough that I believe it will prevent the phone from tipping over.

Great product in terms of functionality and design. I used it often for about a year and a half, and then it suddenly just broke. Although most of the build is metal (aluminum), it turns out that some of the highest-stress parts, such as the hinges, are made of plastic. Over time, the plastic ages and eventually breaks.
