A well balanced combo and the price can't be beat. These Rods are amazing and the reel is far better than I expected.

Reel seems solid and the rod seems very sturdy. It must have gone through some severe stress to have broken in half. The eyelets were bent, I was able to bend them back without them breaking off, which definitely shows the durability of this combo. The reel has a smooth action and the drag adjustment feels solid. I like it enough that I decided to keep this one and order another one as well. I can use this off the back of the boat. It will be a fun little stubby pole lol. I don't plan on doing any ice fishing, but I don't like a large cumbersome pole on my motor yacht. These will be perfect for jigging off the side while out on the water and you don't have to worry about smacking someone with a 9ft pole 😂👍 I will do another review on the next one that arrives. That will give us time to do some sea trials with the rod as well. 🐟🐡 UPDATE - The second combo arrived and the handle was broken off. I will be able to put the two together and have one working unit. Yay. ... show more

Got the first rod with 3 guilds are broken. Replace 2 times and they finally give me a good one. The product is amazing, absolutely worth for its price, but you really need some luck to have them deliver an intact one to you.
