**tldr: if you are replacing UGG brand insoles, just order the same size. You will get the real deal. But if you are ordering for a different brand of shoe, be aware that the Uggs are cut very large for the size marked — a “women’s 8” is really more like a US women’s 10. Best to measure the old insole and maybe order a few sizes. ** In the past few months, I have ordered Ugg insoles (both men’s and women’s) as well as 2 different “generic” replacement brands, for a variety of boots/scuffs/clogs. Both the men’s and women’s Ugg insoles are just like the factory Ugg insoles (besides maybe foam color) — thick, plush, the same length/width, and they fit the Ugg boots perfectly. The cheaper other brand insoles were just that…cheaper. Less dense, quickly flattened and worn. That didn’t really surprise me. What did surprise me was the ENORMOUS size difference between the two. The picture shows the Ugg insole versus one of the generic insoles. Both the Uggs and the non-Uggs were described as “Women’s 8” on Amazon and both came marked with EU39 on them (which is closer to US8.5). The non-Uggs measure 9.5 inches long, right on point for size 39, and fit perfectly in the non-Ugg size US8.5 clogs and non-Ugg size US8 slippers. But there’s no chance to put the real Uggs in those shoes, since they are nearly 10.25 inches long—women’s 10!! But again, they DO FIT SIZE 8 UGG BOOTS perfectly. I suppose I could trim the Uggs, since they aren’t stitched like the non-Ugg ones, but since my Ugg boots could use replacing anyway, I will just use them in the boots and use the cheap insoles in the clogs until they wear out….then I’ll have to remember to size down when I order Ugg insoles for the clogs. And to throw a third wrench in, the second non-Ugg brand, also marked “Women’s 8” was clearly designed to mimic Uggs and was an exact match for the oversized Uggs and would not fit in the clogs either. They would have worked in my ugg boots…but not needed with the real replacements here too.

Update 12/20/17 - These insoles lasted about 2 years of heavy use during the winter months. I just received another pair to replace the old ones. The wear was mostly in the heel section. I think that’s pretty good for an insole product like this. I have a pair of Bear Paw Abby style short snow boots that I use as slippers indoor and also wear outdoors. I bought them last year and wear them a LOT during the cold months. By this year the sheepskin lining in the footbed was worn down to nothing in the heel area and compressed and the rest of the foot area. I purchased a pair of these UGG liners because they seemed the most substantial over the other brands offered here. I ordered them in size 9 because my Bear Paws are a size 9. (My shoe size is 8 but several reviewers advised ordering a size up on the Bear Paws.) They fit snugly into my boots with no spaces on the sides, top or heel. Perfect fit. And now my boots feel like brand new and are warm and cozy again. They were losing some of the warmth when the sheepskin was worn down. I didn't remove any lining from the Bear Paws before putting these in, just put them on top. My feet are closer to the top of the boot, like they were when they were new. Since the boots have sheepskin lining throughout, this isn't a problem. I'm posting some pictures so you'll have a better idea just what they look like. Update 2/7/17 - These insoles are still going strong and I wear them all day long on most days during the fall and winter, except when I'm forced to dress up. The heel bottoms are just starting to get a little flat but they should be just fine for the rest of this season. The toe and middle sections are still fluffy and the heels can still be fluffed up a little. But I'll probably replace them next year with this same brand. They're perfect for my Bear Paws which are still in great shape on the outside.

Excellent Quality a size 8 for a size 8 Tasman Slipper. My kids slippers are like new again. Needed to remove the original insoles to slide these in and that took a minute with scissor snips. Once old removed these went in perfectly. Adding warmth and comfort to the slippers.

These shearling UGG insoles have fantastic real shearling that is long and very dense, and it is well adhered to a good quality but thin foam base. Since the original UGG boots have arch support I expected these to, but they don’t. I kept them to use in a pair of boots that are too wide but already have arch support for the extra warmth and to make them fit better. On a side note, I also ordered the UGG men’s premium insoles because they don’t make women’s premium ones, and the premium ones were described as having orthopedic arch support. They do, but the top is not shearling - it’s weird little balls of wool that are sewn on, and they aren’t close enough together so I felt them. I found the tops to not be very comfortable and didn’t think they’d be nearly as warm. I was also concerned about durability. They were more expensive, too. I returned them. I ordered a no-name brand that Amazon recommended afterwards that are shearling and have even better arch support and love them. Those are the ones I used to replace the ones in my UGG boots.
