I love that the entire shell is made of metal; I have no worries that a fall here or there will damage the clippers. I’ve lost a couple of plastic clippers to cracked housings. The blades are SHARP with just dull enough tips that I don’t get that rash when you have to go over an area a couple times, which I don’t really ever have to do with these and I have some thick hair. They charge fast and hold the charge for a while. I like the display indicator that shows how much battery is left. I only use these on myself and I’m a pretty quick cut since I’ve mastered my style, but they get no heat to them at all. They are comfortable to hold and easy to handle, thanks to the well distributed weight of the clippers. They aren’t too big, not too small. Not too fancy, just a solid clipper set that does what it’s supposed to and well. The guides are also great; the part that usually breaks on me is made of metal, essentially making them a “lifetime” use attachment.

I purchased these thinking they wouldn't be all that great but the reviews sounded good so I gave them a try. Wow! They are just as heavy as my Wahl clippers. (I prefer heavy, not light, cheap feeling) I love the battery percentage and running time feature. I use these as my professional clippers in my salon. Used Wahl clippers most of my career but their quality has decreased considerably over the last few years. I find myself replacing them every year or 2. I'm hoping these last as long or longer. They cut like a knife through butter. Super quiet. No pulls. Just smooth. I purchased the case separately and these fit great. The only negative thing I can say is that the clipper guards included are only 6 of them. I also purchased the extra guards so I could complete the set. This set includes an A) which is a half, a B) which is 1.5 and then guards 1 through 4. The trimmers also have guards. Due to the price of these, I cannot complain there isn't the full set of guards. I highly recommend these. Update. The edging trimmer batter only lasts for 1.5 haircuts after about 6 months. Then, at 10 months, the main clippers started shutting off. Having to replace already. I suppose for the price and how much use I got from them, I won't complain. But I am bringing the 5 star down to 4.

After taking my 3-year-old son for a haircut and spending $60 including tip for both of us, my wife and I decided to try doing haircuts at home. We were pleasantly surprised by how well these clippers worked and everything that came with them for the price. We especially like that they are wireless, shows the remaining battery life and run time. The clippers cut great and are good quality. The only issue is the hairstylist, but she’s getting better! We highly recommend these clippers.

You would imagine that a tool offered for professional use would last a lifetime but that's not been the case in my experience with this Ufree set. In fact, after less than two years the smaller set is not charging anymore. Oh well, the manufacturer instructions suggest to replace the battery when that happens, so I began disassembling the unit. First surprise, after removing 3 screws the face of the unit came off, only to reveal that it was packed full with my hair, which could be a statement of its good performance but also reveals its vulnerability to humidity and water spills. The battery was not showing yet, so I removed more screws to uplift a board with circuitry and finally the battery appeared. Second surprise, the battery is soldered to the circuitry! I am handy with a solder but that second surprise got me to realize how poorly engineered this product is. Replacing a battery should be an easy step, possibly done without any tool. So I decided to not bother with this piece of professional engineering anymore and made a note to never buy anything marked Ufree again. Lesson learned.
