I also have a Wahl 79601 High Performance Elite clipper, and these are easily better. Very nicely made, cutters are sharp and have zero "pull". The small one is excellent for beard trimming and getting to areas that are difficult with the larger one, or the Wahl. I love the lack of the cord my Wahl has, makes a huge difference. Nice digital display, and accurately shows battery status, also recharges quite quickly, though is good for a lot of use between charges. Performance doesn't change regardless of the state of charge. I love being able to charge via USB-C. Accessories are all fine and fit properly. Really well made devices, I expect they'll last longer than me. When I first got the product the attachments would not fit on the razor. I had to bend the clips back to get them to snap in. While doing this one of the clips broke. Overall a very solid razor.

The media could not be loaded. Finally an Amazon recommendation that exceeded my expectations! If you're like me a hairy man dude guy that does his own hair cuts and have gone through half a dozen or more clippers. These will not disappoint! They're so good they were Able to cut my long shepherds matted hair! We've tried using wahls and Phillips buzzers before on her and they wouldn't cut a hair on her. U free cut every knot and clump from her coat! Now I know these aren't meant for animals but hey, after I cut my hair with ease I thought... Let's try it! Way faster than scissors. We actually had to shave her to the skin on the hips and belly due to a rash she got from laying in puddles lol . 2nd time in 9 years she's had to be buzzed so can't complain. The large clipper started at 100% took me about 30 minutes for my hair cut and then about 90 minutes for her and it finally died. Amazing run time , nice and sharp and not one scratch or catch of my skin or the dogs skin! Only negative is you'll need some of the spray cleaner, they do bog down a bit after cutting hair. Whether a dog or human. I applied the cleaner/cooler spray every 10 to 15 minutes and the speed came right back. Great purchase! Hopefully they sell blade kits cause I'm gonna probably need one soon after these shenanigan's. ... show more

I ordered these as I wanted to get away from my corded professional trimmers. They are ok and the price is right, but you get what you pay for. After a little over a year I’m starting to experience issues with them. They are not made of the same high quality material as the professional level clippers and trimmers and it shows. From the get go the clippers would not set to the lowest position using the lever. I had to manually push them into the lowest position. Not that big of a deal. Recently, the on/off lever broke on the clippers under normal use leaving just a nub by which to turn them on/off. The plastic is so thin that it can’t be superglued back on. I don’t think they’ll hold out for much longer. I also accidentally dropped the trimmers on carpet and they fell perfectly to where they landed on one end of the blade. The impact snapped off a small piece of plastic which holds the blade straight. They still turn on but they are crooked and unfixable. The batteries worked well on both and lasted at least 8 cuts before needing a charge. I’m not trying to rag on them as they have more than paid for themselves with money saved on going to the barber. They do leave a lot to be desired in the quality department, but you get what you pay for. I would recommend them for home use for someone not looking to break the bank but knowing full well they are not going to last or for someone wanting to try out cordless units before making the jump to professional level machines. ... show more
