Really not a great buy. I was using this to replace a ring camera. I wanted the continuous recording. This set up does not require a monthly subscription which, along with continuous recording is why I am moving from Ring. The resolution is not as great as the Ring. I attached a screenshot of an IR image during the night. I’ve also attached one during daytime. The FPS seems to be lower than the Ring as well because it stutters a lot. I have Cat8 cable to it, so it’s plenty POE and speed. The LCD screen on it is useless. It can hold a tiny picture but really it’s a useless feature. IMO it would be better to save the money and get the camera without it. The chime is also sort of useless. It’s not as loud as a normal doorbell so you almost need one on each floor. In addition the unify app started out sending notifications great but now it doesn’t. I’ve checked the phone and the app and I cannot see where the error is. The only real perk to the install is Unify makes it plug and play so it’s super quick and easy for anyone to set up. Food for thought, if you’re using shielded termination plugs, they’re so long it’s near impossible to plug them into any of the unify equipment. In this case, if this were going in a wall that was built with 2x4s, the cable would stick too far out of the back so you could not mount it with that set up. ... show more

Price gouging is a thing! Buy this and you'll know all about it! I returned this item after finding it closer to the manufacturers price from Tristate Low Voltage Supply! The camera is great, the seller not so much! I wish amazon would do more to control sellers like this.
