This overhead camera mount is extremely helpful for my YouTube recordings! The 360° adjustable arm and phone holder make it super versatile—I can set it at almost any angle and even adjust the height. It clamps easily to my desk and feels very strong and sturdy. Excellent quality for a great price.

    • Excellent degree of motion and ease of use
This does everything I wanted it to do and more. I use it for livestreaming on YouTube and so I need something that allows me to reposition the camera and hold it there very quickly with a wide degree of motion. This does exactly that without having to fiddle around with knobs or grips. Love it.

    • Mount is bad and won't fit well
The mount does not fit well. I tried it on 3 different tables and one kitchen island. Even if you can make it fit, the support is weak and it often will fall. Without a solid mount the arm is useless. I'm going to return it now, like most people seem to do with this product. Stay away.

So, it has the height I need, and wanted, but there are some serious issues with this design or maybe my product. Likes: 1. I like how high this can get for the shots I want to eventually do on my desk, with the overhead view. 2. It holds my Rebel T7 without issue, no drooping arm after a while of use, and the *arm* tensioners are really solid too. 3. I like the wire guide clips that are on the body of the actual arm itself. They're a bit tight for my USB cables for cameras, but they help keep my cables out of the way. 4. This is a like and dislike, but the clamp depth is fine. Dislikes: 1. As you can see in the videos, the base C-clamp and the extender pole both are very wobbly, even tightened to it's fullest. I don't like that, and I've noticed that the camera footage jiggles a bit if I'm moving around or bumping the desk more than I think it should. 2. The head mount is the right size for my threads, but that ball head mount is finicky, and I actually worry after awhile of it loosing grip and having a camera drop or just droop suddenly. Not a big deal if I'm not live streaming, but live streaming it could become annoying. 3. To tighten the ball mount, you see that hole? You best have a small Allen wrench or small screwdriver to tighten it. The tensioner for the head arm is very finicky too, and so is that silver part, I worried several times when changing the angle of it, it would just fall out. 4. The clamp depth might not be deep enough for some users, its about an inch and half deep, versus the usual 2 inches. 5. You have to use the extender arm, there is no other way about it. I was hoping I could switch if necessary but unfortunately not. Overall, I'll use it for now, but if I can get a better one, I think I might. It's not bad, just cheaper quality than I expected at this price. ... show more
