I've used it on my hiking trip last weekend to Palo Duro and CapRock Canyon. It worked out well and was able to get a few group photos with out doing selfies - which I don't like to do. I didn't use the remote on the trip because I have a iphone watch that works with my phone to take pictures. However the remote works because I did test it.

The best tripod for your money! So sturdy and the legs are adjustable at so many angles. You can adjust one leg and leave the others. Perfect for table tops. I cant rant about this product enough. This is the first review I’ve ever written. I just had to do it for this one!

I finally got a good tripod to take good static videos on hiperspeed! I'm also using it for long exposure. The height is also good. And it come with a small bag with strap for easy transportation.
