Wondering why you've never heard of this company? Because it's not one of the great lock companies of the world. It's just an importer (from you know where) of cheap locks that fail just outside the warranty period of a miniscule 1 year. Most companies will offer a goodwill replacement, but not U-tech. Be warned, and go with one of the big name brands who stand behind their products. While their app functionality is excellent and the lock worked well, the company doesn't stand behind their products and I can't recommend. I have the u bolt without the wifi bridge and the keyed entry. The app on watch and phone do not work. It buffers for an extremely long time where the keypad entry is quicker. The other products wifi reviews say it doesn’t work. It has a nice look but doesn’t work as expected. The product I purchased is no longer available - red flag ... show more

This lock worked great for about a year until the coating came off the fingerprint scanner. It still works via keypad. I like it but disappointed that the scanner no longer works.

    • Auto Lock not working after manual unlock
Seems to be a known issue if you manually unlock the door lock then the auto lock won’t engage. I bought this and while I love the fingerprint access it really defeats the point if the auto lock function doesn’t work.
