So it was really easy to install this, set up for Wi-Fi and Bluetooth took a little bit but now it works flawlessly. I can't unlock it with Google Assistant but I can use my thumbprint and I can change the pin and I can unlock it remotely anytime I want to. I love being able to unlock my door while I'm at the gym for a friend. The one thing I'll say is that it's supposed to unlock when my phone gets close to the door upon returning home and I have not gotten that to work yet. Auto lock with a timer is amazing though so it more than makes up for it.

Had this lock for less than a year and I’m already shopping for a different one. The good: -easy install & setup -solid fingerprint scanner -unique design -hidden physical keyhole The bad: -received daily “replace battery” notifications for months regardless of battery strength; unable to disable yet keep unlock/jam/other notifications active -received a faulty “door has been unlocked for several hours” notification when it was in fact locked. Happy that it has such a feature, just wished it worked like it was supposed to. -auto-lock settings were unable to be changed—it’s settings include delayed auto-lock and always unlock, but in practice it always locked, at least until recently -in the past couple months there have been several instances where it had plenty of battery power, the sensors were all functioning, but it did not auto-lock, nor did it notify me that it was not locking properly. Conclusion: not secure, not consistent, NOT WORTH IT.

This is actually my third one of these locks. I used to have one on my old house before I moved, and loved it then. This is an updated version of essentially the same thing i had before. I see that Ultraloq has made numerous improvements to the design, especially as it relates to the ease of installation and setup. I really like that I do not need a separate gateway to take advantage on many of the smart features and Alexa integration, which is a big part of why I got this lock. The app is secure and intuitive and offers lots of control over the way the lock behaves, and I have strict control over access codes, authorized users, schedules, etc. Ultraloq definitely put a lot of attention to detail into this lock. The generous list of ways to operate the lock ranks near the top. Fingerprint, code, key, app, etc. I also like the fact that you can use a USB cable to power the lock in an emergency in case you find yourself locked out with a dead battery and no access to the backup key. The door sensor is a nice addition to this updated version as well, since it addresses one of the more significant problems with this type of lock, which is that it would otherwise lock while the door was open and you would have no way of knowing that the door was bolted, but actually unsecured. The door sensor allows the app to notify you if the lock does not detect that the door is fully closed when locking. The only issue I would cite, which I do not recall with my first one, is that battery life seems to be a bit short. This may be because of the integrated gateway that requires more frequent communication with the Wifi network, or be due to the beeping alarm that is designed to alert you if you leave the door open, but it could easily be solved by having a couple sets of 4 AA rechargeable batteries that you swap between lock and charger as needed once every month or two. Despite this, I am very pleased with this lock, and it will remain one of my first choices if I find myself in the market for a smart lock again in the future.

The combination lock is very cost-effective, has complete basic functions, is very sensitive to unlocking, the lock body is made of thick material, the surface is metal, and the appearance looks good. The installation is very simple, just remove the original old-fashioned door lock and install it. The password unlocking is very sensitive. Fingerprints sometimes don't work. If your hands are wet, or your fingers have oil on them, the fingerprints won't be easily recognized. But you can still use the key to open the door

I will never go back. I will never be forced to carry a house key whenever I go out. From now on all locks I have will be fingerprint or touchpad or with my phone. I’ve been using the U-Bolt Pro WiFi Smart Lock for a few months and it just works and every time I enter my house I get a smile and a little thought of the Jetsons. This is an attractive, 5 star deadbolt lock.

I am using this smart lock for my back door and my back door is a steal model with a handle and deadbolt area only. I have a digital lock already at the location, but the buttons have fallen off and the battery does stay charged well. I easily switch my old deadbolt lock with the new one without having to make any adjustments to the already predrilled deadbolt location and latch area in the frame. After installing the batteries in the back unit and attaching the deadbolt latch and front key pay, I immediately started to test the features. First I tested the two keys that came with the lock. The keypad dropped down and exposed the key location. The key opened the lock without hesitation. Next, I set a code and tried the code. Worked flawlessly. I then programmed my fingerprint and attempted to unlock the deadbolt and once again, success. I then spent time studying the application that was built for this lock. I found that the automatic locking and unlocking system in the app worked well and I appreciated that I could assign multiple family members to the application. I also appreciated the fact that the door would lock behind me if I forgot to lock it or if my hands were full. Additionally, I liked the lighted keypad which makes finding the access points easy at night. Overall, this is a quality product and I have enjoyed the new technology in my home. I am still evaluating the battery life, but expect to get a good amount of time out of the batteries provided.
