The swing was put together and hung in August of 2022. The stain used did not protect the wood very well at all and is almost completely gone exposing raw and weathered wood. Most importantly almost all of the fasteners became loose especially on the arm rests and swing frame. I sanded and applied stain. This product does not meet any type of long term use and looks way worse than one hung in my neighbors yard that is 20 years old. I don't expect to get another full season out of it as the screw faster holes have begun to decay and will eventually become a rapid disassembly concern.

Box arrived on time and undamaged. All parts present and undamaged. The color was shocking, to say the least. I expected a natural color but it is actually bright orange. Our house is pine green and dark brown so any natural color would have been fine. But bright orange doesn’t work so I will be staining and varnishing the swing in hopes of making it slightly more attractive. Assembly was quick and easy. I was pleasantly surprised at how much it was already assembled. As recommended by others, I purchased a separate heavy-duty hardware assembly to hang it with since it was to be hung from hardware screwed into a beam on our deck. The included hanging hardware would probably be fine if it was going to hang from a freestanding swing support. It seems overpriced for the quality of the wood (pretty poor) and quality of the stain (not just the color but the stain is uneven and missing in some places) and because the wood has not been sanded well. If I had unlimited time, I would have sanded, stained, and varnished it before putting it together. Even so, I like it and expect to spend many early morning hours sitting in it , sipping my coffee and watching the sun rise over the Mission Mountains.

Do not buy this swing. It’s a complete piece of garbage. The pictures are misleading. It’s neither painted nor water / weather resistant. It’s completely raw , rough wood with splinters coming out which makes it extremely uncomfortable to sit on. Very cheap untreated pine wood. If you want to return you will have to pay the postage and 20%restocking fee. I somehow overlooked the other wooden porch swing that was available by Fortune candy store. It’s beautifully painted , better finish and ships in two days and bigger dimensions. Much better quality hardware with springs. It’s same price as this one with the discount. Please don’t make the mistake of buying this this garbage and get the other one.
