    • Faster styling and easy to use

I am still learning the ways to use this tool, but so far I really like it. It makes it so much faster to add smoothness or straightness and body to my hair without smashing it like a flat iron does. This can add a bit of a wave and a great shape to your style. It is easy to pack and cuts down on the number tools I use to get ready in the morning. I have fine hair but a lot of it, and for the most part haven’t had any issues. On my fringe I find that a little hairspray or texture spray helps the tool hold onto my hair better. I use the medium heat setting but may experiment with the higher temperature. I have accidentally hit the button on the temperature control a few times, but it is easy to reset. It holds heat very well, and I think would be great for thicker hair as well. It has an automatic shut off feature that I appreciate. I have had this for a couple of months with no issues.     • Hard to get through the hair confused on how to use it

Mixed feelings wanted to try it most definitely can live without it not sure what it does it’s hard to get through the hair it doesn’t curl much it bumps the ends a bit will probably just stick to my straightener or my blow dryer brush or my hot rollers. I’m kind of confused because it’s so hard to get through the hair that you almost don’t even want to use it. It’s my first time using it so maybe I need to practice more. It bumped my ends nicely. Luckily, I was using fake hair because I don’t see how I could just be trying to keep on pulling it through my natural curly hair. I definitely wouldn’t recommend doing your hair wet and then blow drying it with this tool. I wanted to try it. I took a chance, but if I had a choice, I probably wouldn’t have bought it. It’s not useless if I don’t have anything else, but I just don’t see trying to struggle trying to get the brush through my straight hair on a daily basis when it barely does anything I tried to curl with it and it didn’t curl good It just bumped my ends a bit I will keep on practicing because this thing can’t be this useless. Update just horrible don’t wast ur money I been practicing trying different ways different heat settings. It’s useless. It doesn’t even grip there. How can you work with the product that doesn’t grip there? I heard this brush was horrible, but I wanted to try for myself totally regret it. I was really excited to try the TYMO 2.0 Thermal Brush because I was looking for a quieter alternative to my curling iron and Dyson Airwrap. I get up very early in the mornings, so having a styling tool that doesn't sound like a blow dryer was a big selling point for me. For reference, I have very thick Asian hair. It's naturally full with some frizz and loose waves, so it almost always needs to be styled. I've been doing my own hair for years and am very comfortable using curling irons and blow dryers, so I already have a good amount of styling experience. The first thing I noticed is that this tool is very well made. It heats up quickly, feels high quality, and is noticeably quieter than most styling tools, which I really appreciated. If noise is important to you, this is definitely a plus. Where I struggled was with performance on my hair type. Even on the highest heat setting, it didn't create curls or volume as effortlessly as I had hoped. Instead of simply wrapping and gliding the brush through my hair, I had to hold sections against the barrel and slowly work them around the brush to get any bend or shape. It worked, but it required much more time and effort than I expected. Because of that, styling my hair took about the same amount of time as using a traditional curling iron or my Dyson. The results were softer and more subtle rather than defined curls, which may be exactly what some people are looking for. I can absolutely see why this tool has so many positive reviews, especially for people with finer, thinner, or more easily styled hair. My experience was simply different because of my hair's thickness and texture. I don't think the product is defective—it just wasn't as effective on my hair type as I had hoped. In the end, I decided to keep it because I genuinely like how quiet it is, and it does give my hair a polished, smooth finish when I take the time to use it. I also purchased it during Prime Day, so I felt it was a good value for the price. Overall, I would recommend this thermal brush if you're looking for a quieter styling tool that creates soft volume and shape. I was using a blow dryer with a brush and needed a change and this is the ticket. It’s not a blow dryer but more like a curling iron with a brush. My hair is in between length so the blow dryer was a little too wide but this is the perfect size. I love the different heat settings. I am not crazy about the rubber rows in between the brush rows. So are we researched these Tymo’s before I bought them. I bought two I bought the basically blowout one for when your hair is wet and I bought this one. I don’t know how to feel about it. I researched Amazon reviews and I watched Instagram videos I also went directly to their website. My hair is straight and very easy to comb through, but it gets stuck in the brush. It’s almost like I have to like pull my hair out, and I don’t know if that affects the curl or not I’ve tried to curl my hair three or four different ways and I always just get a little flip at the bottom. I don’t get any body curls through the whole hair and I think that has to deal with my hair getting stuck & me having it like basically almost pull my hair or undo it to get it out from being stuck in the brush. It’s good if you’re looking for like to straighten your hair for a little curl at the end, but I didn’t wanna leave my hair strand curling for more than two minutes because I don’t wanna burn my hair. You really can’t get close to your head. If that makes any sense it does get hot, so don’t hold your hand on the tool. It’s nice to curl your hair if you’re doing a refresher, but it’s going to straighten your hair in the process and put a curl at the end I don’t know if anybody wants to give me any insight maybe I’m doing it wrong but I gave it three stars because I like that it straightens your hair very nice and smooth smoothly and leaves a little curl at the end but overall it doesn’t get four or five stars there’s just no curls in the whole strand. This is a personal opinion. And the YouTube and Instagram videos I watched before purchasing this kind of made it seem like it was easy to curl your hair with, but for me, it’s not I brushed my hair so that you can see my hair isn’t some type of 4c hair I don’t have thick hair. I have very easy maintaining hair and this typo was suggested for different types of hairs, even curly hair and it struggles with mine it like holds it and you can’t twirl it unless you’re pulling your hair. ... show more
