This product arrived re-shrink wrapped over a damaged box. When I open the box, the item had been used however, it did work well and dried my hair very fast which I love and why I bought it in the first place with that said I’m returning it for a brand new Purchase because these are expensive I expect to pay full price for a new item not for a used item Because the instructions had been removed for the box it took me a few minutes to figure out how to work it, but after I figured it out it blow dry my long hair very very quickly. I bought this dryer for my adult daughter who is disabled with several debilitating autoimmune diseases. She likes to do my granddaughter's hair for her. I watched her struggle with the large, heavy blow dryer she was using so I started looking for a dryer that would make that process easier...enter the Tymo. This was the smallest of the group the company offered. That dryer made such a huge difference. It dries fast! And it's so light...it doesn't weigh much at all. The only problem was she kept turning the dryer off accidentally because of the placement of the off button...no problem, just had to adapt to holding the dryer a little differently. She loves this dryer and so do I...I'm buying one for myself soon! This would be a great gift for anyone who is older and still does their own hair, and especially those with arthritis.     • DETAILED REVIEW - 2 Reasons Why I Returned This (by a non-hair stylist)
This review is from the perspective of a regular user, not a Hair stylist, because there is a huge difference in who this hairdryer is made for. 2 reasons why I am returning this: 1. The buttons are split - you have the main button to turn it on (the switch), on one side, and the other 2 on the other side. This has caused me many times just to stop blowdrying for a few seconds, pull the hair dryer away from my head, just to swap the buttons for a different temperature because it's the only way I can really see what I am pressing. For someone blowdrying their hair, ideally, you would want all buttons and switches in the same area so it's easy to swap settings WHILE you are in the middle of blow drying. All so you can blow dry as quickly as possible to move onto the next thing you need to do in life. I am a huge fan of productivity and just getting things done FASTER which was the purpose of buying this because the heavier the blow dryer, I have to take multiple breaks because my arm starts to get tired and burns like I am lifting weights at the gym. This blow dryer was compared to a Dyson and yes the power of it is great and blow drys faster but not when you have to pause more time just to swap settings because they are all spread out! Example: I like to blow dry straight and then, use the cool setting quickly and move onto the next section. 2. The Flat Buttons are very difficult to see - I wish they were slightly "raised" so I don't have to move the blow dryer away from my head to see which button I am pressing. Other than that I love this hair dryer. It's super small and actually fits in my bathroom drawer while living in a older apartment because the drawers aren't as deep. It's small enough I can travel with it for the first time but I still have my Conair Round Brush Dryer for that with a brush attachment already. Even though it's only 6 ounces lighter than my full-size blow dryer, it just feels lighter because you don't have to move your arms as much when you have long hair like mine because the main barrel is shorter. Trust me, I thought about this for over 2 weeks about returning it or keeping it but for the price of this hairdryer and not really needing another one because I have a full-size blow dryer and Conair Round Brush Blow Dryer already. I am also trying to go more minimalist with what I buy, so I don't really "need" this blowdryer right now. Especially when I recently decided I am going to wear my hair more curly to cut down on damage. AND I realized I would rather hold out for the improved version if the company is reading these reviews. I originally bought this for the power of being able to blowdry my hair straight FASTER with less damage but like I said, came to a realization that simply wearing my hair curly in between blowdrying is enough to balance out using my regular hair dryer. FYI - the Conair - I feel really kills your hair! So I use it less and try to only use it either on the under parts of my hair in the back where the hair is less exposed to the sun, thus less damage OR just take it only when I travel for the convenience while still using my regular hair dryer at home. ... show more

The wife loves it. It was a little expensive but the quality, the potential & heat dissipation makes it a great hair dryer. As you’re using it, it doesn’t get hot in your hands and very manageable all round. If you want a dream hair dryer, this is it.
