Purchased this hair dryer to replace a Conair that was about 15 years old. So far I like the performance. It has more power and dries my hair much faster. The hot setting can get too hot, so I am careful and use the medium setting more often. The cool button works but it a little awkward to press. Dryer is also lighter weight than my old one. I had my doubts about this hairdryer but to my surprise it was very well made and has a lot of power. It didn't think it would have as much power as my last dryer which dried my hair pretty fast, but again, this is very powerful and gets your hair dried in a short amount of time. Conair is my favorite brand for blow dryers! It's very powerful and it doesn't take long for my hair to fully dry. It's lightweight and easy to use. The shape of the handle makes it comfortable to hold. I like that there are a few different heat and speed settings too. It's perfect for whatever you need! Hot, warm, cool, or cold. And I love the color! Its a great price for such a good dryer! The only thing that some might not like is how loud it is. I don't think its very noisy, but there may be other blow dryers that are quieter. It personally doesn't bother me at all. As long as it dries my hair quickly and easily, the noise is no issue. I know Conair blow dryers have a long lifespan as well. I bought this only a few months ago, but I've had 0 issues with it, and I know it will last years from having one in the past. We upgraded to this after using a really weak Conair CordKeeper for a few years. This dryer is much much better! My mom has had an Infiniti Pro for many years and it works extremely well, which is what influenced us to get this one. I'm really happy with it, but I'm knocking off one star only because my mom's model from almost a decade ago is much more powerful and gets the job done at a faster rate. I was so pleasantly surprised by this dryer! I have tried so many others and they just didn't seem to have any power and didn't put out much air, so they took forever to dry my hair and were promptly returned. I have very fine, thin hair, so it shouldn't take long to dry it. I have had a John Frieda dryer I've loved for over ten years and unfortunately it isn't made any more. It started making some oddball noises, so I figured I'd better have a backup on hand in case it bit the dust unexpectedly. I really wanted to replace it with the exact same dryer but since that wasn't possible, I started looking for a close dupe. Conair made one that looked almost identical to the JF dryer, but of course that one isn't available anymore, either. This one looked to be pretty similar in specs and design so I decided to give it a try. It works great! Plenty of power, dries my hair quickly and the temperature and speed controls are really nice. The toggles for the controls feel well made and of good quality, some have such a cheap and flimsy feeling to them, but not this one. If you're looking for a powerful blow dryer that doesn't break the bank, look no further! ... show more

This is a very good blow dryer. I tried many, and couldn't find one that worked very well for various reasons. This blow dryer heats up immediately, It has enough power to dry your hair quickly and isn't too heavy. Highly recommend.

More powerful than most. And has numerous setting combinations. I don't know why anyone would want to spend more that this cost to buy one of the much more expensive hair dryers. For my needs/use this does everything I want and does it fast and well. Dries quickly. I think it is good price. I am not into curling, so can't comment on that. ... show more

Love this BLACK HAIR DRYER WITH ROSE GOLD ACCENTS. The orange and red versions of this hair dryer are not the same as this one. They are heavier, less powerful and do not get as hot. The black one though is great. Light weight and great flow. I have bought 2 now and prefer it over my more expensive T3 and Babyliss dryers. The straight tip can sometimes fall off after many uses but I fixed this by adding a bit of electrical tape around the threads before re-attaching to the dryer. ... show more
