Why use an ionic hair dryer? Ionic hair dryers offer faster drying times, as negative ions break down water molecules. They also reduce frizz and static by neutralizing positive ions, leaving hair smoother and shinier. By minimizing heat exposure and promoting faster drying, ionic dryers can help protect hair health and retain its natural moisture. Build quality: it's decently built. It's not the best quality. It feels a little bit cheap, but it doesn't feel like it will break. Definitely doesn't have that premium feel, but it's expected for something in this price range. Heat: It doesn't get hot as my normal blow dryer. I decided to get this one because it's an ionic blow dryer. It's my first one of this kind so I'm not sure if it's supposed to be cooler than a conventional one. It has 2 heat settings and a cold setting. Strength: It does blow pretty hard though. There are 2 speeds, and I think it blows plenty hard enough for hair drying purposes. Drying power: Even though it isn't as hot as my old blow dryer, it still is strong enough to dry my hair out quickly. My hair isn't that long though. Not sure how well it'll work with longer hair. Features: It has a cold air button to get a blast of cold air in between heating. It comes with 3 attachments: narrow nozzle, nozzle with guard, and a diffuser. There is also a built in breaker like the ones you find in other hair dryers. The cord is plenty long. It is a 2 prong plug. Overall, I think this one is a decent hair dryer. It is good enough for me to keep as my permanent hair dryer for now.

I just received my blow dryer today and I absolutely love it! It’s compact, lightweight, and surprisingly powerful — it dries my hair so quickly. I was honestly shocked when I first opened the box because it doesn’t feel like something you’d get for only $50. It also comes with three attachments. The long-tooth comb makes it so much easier to grab and straighten my thick hair while drying, and as someone with 3C hair, the large and deep diffuser is an absolute must to maintain the natural curls. Both work perfectly and really elevate the experience. Overall, I’m beyond satisfied with this purchase — if it came in pink, it would be perfect! 💗

Love!! I’ve always wanted an ionic but they were too expensive. I bought this for the diffuser, but it came with a straightening tool. No frizz! I always fight frizz! Very affordable! Love!

This hair dryer is very basic in construction and quality with equal quality attachments. It does function as expecting, and all parts arrived intact. The protective end cap on the blower end appears to be 3D printed, and provides little protection from the heating elements. When peering inside you can see how much a blow dryer resembles a toaster with a fan. The dryer is very lightweight and easy to use. The dryer blows very hot, and the cool shot activates quickly with a press and hold of a button. Aside from the included attachments there is not much here that separates this dryer from a dryer that costs a third of the price.

Got this TYMO blow dryer for my man and he loves it! For his short hair, it dries his whole head in about a minute. Super light and compact, perfect for business trip. The temperature settings are very reasonable, so even with short hair he can create different styles easily. Definitely a great gift!

This dryer is very lightweight with good airflow and heat. It has optimally placed controls on the back of the handle so you don't inadvertently change the airflow or temperature when holding it. The attachments stay secure, and the dryer feels comfortable in your hand. Dryer weight is important to me because I have a lot of hair, and it takes some time to dry it. When comparing this dryer to my go-to dryers (each with a concentrator nozzle attached), this dryer is about 3 ounces lighter than my FlexStyle, 5 ounces lighter than my Wavytalk, and 9 ounces lighter than my Elchim. And while these ounce differences may seem negligible, they make a difference in arm fatigue during a long blow-dry session. The drawback with this dryer is its tendency to suck your hair into the air intake on the back. I have shoulder-length hair, and several times I felt it being drawn in through the intake vent. This is not an issue I encounter with my other dryers. I don't know if the intake fan type, motor placement, device size, or my drying technique causes it, but I have to be mindful of the potential issue while using it. Because this dryer is small and lightweight, it would be a great travel dryer. But because of its propensity to suck hair in through the back, I feel it is a better choice for people with shorter hair than mine.
