I was pleasantly impressed with the results I have seen using this product. Polish with Rupes polishing compound with a Rupes polishing pad and your car looks amazing. Below are the steps I followed to get a mirror finish. This product is used for Step#3 below. 1. Wash the car thoroughly using car wash soap and dry it. 2. Buff the car using any random orbital polisher. I used a 5" coarse cutting pad with dabs of cutting compound and used this tool to cut the paint surface with one section at a time. Immediately wipe off the excess compound with a micro-fiber towel. I used Rupes D-A Coarse high performance cutting foam pad and cutting compound but you can use any cutting compound of your choice. 3. Polish the car using this tool. I used a 5" fine polishing foam pad along with polishing compound to polish the surface and wipe off the excess with a micro-fiber towel. I used Rupes D-A Fine high performance Polishing foam pad and Polishing compound but you can use any polishing compound of your choice. One could stop here and enjoy the mirror like finish and the shine. 4. Protect this surface with a hybrid ceramic wax such as Turtle Wax or a similar compound of your choice. Just spray, rub the wax in gentle circles and wipe off the excess. Buff the surface with the microfiber towel to surface the shine. The results are unbelievable...mirror like finish. The water just slides off the surface...protects the car paint for few months depending on the area you live. ... show more

Great finish/polish pads! Not super resilient, but results are always really well! This truck pictured I did a heavy cut stage 1 with a rotary and heavy cut compound, heavy cut wool pad. It had some heavy buffer trails, woo pad marks, holograms and that stuff (detailers understand what I mean) so after the heavy cut stage one, I used this pad and Sonax perfect finish and here are the results. Not to shabby! Great pads! If I had a complaint, I'd wish they didn't get pitted up so fast. I'll include a picture of a pad I used on 1/2-1/4 of the truck.
