Cab size does not matter as long as you have the correct model and bed size. Does the T1 need drilling for installation? No. It uses a clamp-on design and can be installed in about 30 minutes with basic hand tools. Will it stay secured at highway speed? Yes. Built-in crossbars add structural tension and keep the tarp tight and stable while driving. Is the T1 waterproof? It’s weather-resistant with edge seals that block rain, snow and dust. Can I lock my truck bed with this cover installed? The cover seals under the tailgate, so locking the tailgate secures the bed. Will it fit with a bed liner? It fits under-rail and spray-in liners. 2015 tundra DC with bed tracks. Shipping and packaging was great. I took my time with installation and instructions were pretty good. Followed them to a T. It came with 2 pieces of weather stripping 1 thick and 1 thin. Both are for the front towards the cab. The thick one is for if the front of the bed is lower than the sides of bed. Mine was lower by about 3/16" because of the plastic protectors that came on the sides of my bed like on the tailgate. So I used the thick one. There is a rubber seal at the front that aligns perfectly with the weather stripping. The sides and rear of the cover have the same rubber seals also. So I aligned the front seal perfectly with the weather stripping and front bed rail, and the locking clips used for strapping the cover open were 1/4" away from the cab which again is perfect. Centered up perfect side to side, and spot on for the tailgate. I had to move the front clamps out to the most inward slot so they would be vertical and not angled when clamped down, which is explained in the instructions. One reviewer said his front clamps kept coming loose so I put a nyloc nut on them after adjusting down tight. I also used the thin weather stripping and cut small pieces and applied them to the front corners of the foam corners of the cover for a tight seal. I then got the rear clamps in place (moved those inward also) and adjusted correctly and also put pieces of the thin weather stripping on the rear corners of the foam on the cover. Don't put your small corner pieces on the bed put it on the foam corners of the cover. I then finished up by spraying silicone on a rag and wiped it on the rubber seals to protect them and helped the tailgate slide under when closing. I work in product development and this product is well engineered. I don't see it leaking unless it's a little where the tailgate meets the body. Great price too! Excellent bed cover. This is our second Tyger T1 top, we bought one for our 2006 Tacoma which we traded for a 2012 Tundra so we bought one for the Tundra as well. Installation is quick and easy, fitment is good. Keep in mind this is just a weather cover, it doesn’t provide any security beyond a visual blocker. It does a good job of keeping the weather out. I had to install a pretty thick foam strip across the bed behind the cab on our Tacoma to fill the gap although the strip that came with the kit worked for our Tundra. I wouldn’t say this is a 100% weather proof cap but it does a good job. It is a quick and easy process to roll-up the cover and the retainer straps are easy to work with. Rolling it back out is equally as quick and easy. Durability wise, I suspect the Velcro might wear out at some point. We had the cover on our Tacoma for about 6 months using it at least once a week and did not seen any issues in that time. Regarding cost, these are great value. I bought both from Amazon Warehouse for about $180 each. They were both listed as "used - like new" and that was the truth. Both showed up in the original packaging and completed. Neither had signs of being previously installed. I am very please with this purchase and would buy again. ... show more

2021 tundra TRD crewmax. (no bed liner inside my bed) fits perfect on the track system. I used the weather strip it came with. Went from end cap to end cap and not over. (just fit on the bed itself) looks well made. Very simple and easy to assemble. Instructions are very basic but it's very easy to understand if you know how these covers work. Looks very water tight. The velcro on the edges did not fully fit - as in - there was a bit of the velcro over hanging on the side of the cover, but the edges of my cover were lined up perfectly. I believe the reason for this is to make it more water tight because the edge of the cover nearly touches the end cap edges. Making water run more smoothly off it. I like this feature since the velcro adheres very strongly - the parts that are touching that is. You have to make sure your track system tie down loops are connected in spots you want them before installation. Once you install the clamps to the frame you won't be able to remote the tie down loops in the track system without removing the entire cover and all 4 out of the 6 clamps. You can always put some of the tie-down loops on the back or the track system near the rear window but I don't want mine there. I just installed it, looks very clean and has a minor bowing upwards in the middle, like a little hill, this is to make the run off of water or snow slide off to the edges so it's not piling up. Great feature as well. I don't know how long it'll hold up, but it looks like it's going to be around for a very long time. 4.5 / 5 stars simply cause I don't exactly know the longevity of this item. But for 200 bucks, you can't beat it. I'd definitely recommend it to friends and family so far. (also, the instructions said there should be a 'click' when you lock the cover down at the tailgate. However, mine does not 'click'. It is reached its full pull length and is very tight, yet when I close it there is no click. And when I try to pull up on the cover when it's closed - it does not budge or come up at all. So this design is less to be desired since a click would allow me to know its secure. However I feel like it will not be going anywhere. So I'll assume the click is there for saftey purposes. Funny thing is - there's just plastic and rubber pieces that the eye can only see. So I'm not even sure where the click would be coming from.) ... show more
