I love these big, roomy bowls. They are beautiful and really well made. The high lip is great bc nothing spills out. They would work with any kind of salad, soup, casserole or spaghetti . I only got 4 but will be getting more bc I use these more than the plates.

Beautiful bowls!! They are very large and also very heavy. They are just what I was looking for. We use them for pasta, Chinese, salads, almost everything. I've gotten so many compliments on them. I bought 2 others sets for gifts. You won't be disappointed, they're of excellent quality.

My hubby and I have nicknamed these our "super bowls", because they are exceptional in every way and work fabulous for oversized salads. The warm white color conveniently matches my Delling plates/mugs and other LeTauci bowls. The glaze is thick and provides a fabulous glossy coating on the bowl's inside for fast and easy cleaning. Caution, they can be slippery when wet/washing. Four (4) easily stack, though it's a casual, off-balance stacking; I love the natural look. The large capacity is perfect for mega salads (it catches spinach leaves attempting to jump out) or large messy meals like stuffed peppers or tacos. I'm sure they'll work great as serving bowls as well. Right now, we actually use them for meals a few times a week. I hand-wash them, so I'm unable to speak to durability in the dishwasher.

Beautiful bowls but open carefully in case you need to return them due to breakage. The outer box seemed ok and so did the manufacturer's box yet one of the bowls was badly broken in several pieces with little shards stuck in the foam. You'd think this piece would be the least likely to break as it was third in the stack and all were cushioned and seemed to be well packed. Waiting to see if I need to return the whole set or if the company will replace the broken one. I am changing this to a 5-star. The seller was very responsive! I have since ordered and received the large set of dinner plates, salad plates, bowls and ceramic spoons - also superbly packaged and everything was in perfect condition! I'd also like to call out what someone said about how it took them 2 hours to clean up the little styrofoam balls. What??These are not packaged like that at all! They are packed in dense molded foam and it still is amazing to me that I got a broken bowl...but as I said the seller's customer service is as superb as the product. I'd say if you like it, buy it - you won't be disappointed.
