Description

To restore your vehicle's factory cooling efficiency, all TYC radiators are equivalent to OE construction for number and placement of fluid tubes and cooling fins. For those radiators with transmission oil coolers, the tanks are molded using heat-resistant, high-density polymer plastic for added protection against extreme engine temperatures. Each TYC radiator is leak-tested before leaving the factory to ensure consistent quality.

Hose keeps popping off. I even replaced the fitting connection in the upper ATF hose Incase it was a fluke, but no. Any time I put a decent amount of stress on the system....ie full acceleration, the upper ATF hose pipe offs, drenches the engine compartment and Merc ATF fluid is at least 14 bucks a court and is filled from the bottom requiring that the vehicle is on a lift or on perfectly measured jack stands.     • Trans line connections are not the correct size.
Trans line connectors needed to be removed from the old radiator and using a 17mm fine thread female reduced to a female 14mm fine thread they will fit. Water connections fit perfectly.

While it fits the car exactly, I have had troubles with the upper and lower hoses "popping off" the radiator. I can't differentially diagnose whether the problem is due to using aftermarket radiator, aftermarket radiator hoses or simple incompetence, but, trip interruption resulted thrice in a week! Be certain beyond NASA testing standards that you have the hoses snapped in place securely. ... show more
