I greatly admired the price on this item, but I was a bit underwhelmed with the quality. Many of the bits fit well, some don't without a bit of fiddling. The stepper motor not only didn't work, it stopped the X-axis drive on my Atomstack X7 Pro 50W as well. I thought that was a result of my error in fitting a different (Male) connector to the supplied lead. Trying a different NEMA 17 stepper it worked just fine, maybe the supplied stepper has different pin-outs? I don't need a non-standard stepper in any of my equipment, so i just put the supplied Usongshine USi7-HS4401S aside. I may check it later, but probably not. The rollers that support the piece to be engraved would not fit, they are too long to fit between the frames by 11mm. Putting the supplied washers between the 20x20 lower rails and the end plates, the screws are just long enough to allow assembly as a temporary hack. The rollers are also too hard for reliably driving lightweight items at anything other than very slow speeds with extra gentle acceleration as the slip is pretty ludicrous at a normal engraving speed. De-glazing the rollers with Scotcbrite helped a lot. ... show more

    • Small Spool, But Prints Well

I knew this was a smaller spool when I ordered it, but I did not do my math and did not realize how much smaller. Although this is not the most economical size spool to buy, there might be times when you need or want a small roll. That being said. I do a lot of 3D printing and go through a lot of filament. I find that if you get your temps correct and your bed is level, all filaments print well. The two things I want when buying filament is that it is vacuumed sealed and wound correctly on the spool. This filament is vacuum sealed and the wind on the spool, although I have seen better, is ok too. It prints very good, and I had no problems with it adhering and releasing from the bed. For me 210 degrees nozzle and 60 degrees bed worked great. ... show more

This is a small sample of TwoTrees filament. I looks very much like the spool that came with my printer. This filament is very brittle. It broke taking it out of the eyelet and again when putting it back in. There's nothing extraordinary about it. If you just need a small amount of filament for a specific print this is a good option. My experience with regular sized TwoTree filament is different from these smaller spools. The filament is excellent. Good quality with good adhesion. I was hoping to use the roll on a printer that requires a smaller size but has a larger 52mm spindle. The hole in the middle of this roll makes it suitable for printers that already take a full-size roll. It's always a struggle to have to search for the best prices, colors and qualities when buying 3d printer filament, but I was surprised at how well this one worked out for me! This roll was the perfect size that i needed for a small project and for the amount that it comes with the price is incredible! If you follow the recommended nozzle heat it works out perfect! So far i haven't had any problems when printing with this filament with my Ender 3 MAX! btw, if you are looking for a great printer the ender 3 max is one of the best for the build size!
