It seems okay though the plastic corner pieces are easy to lose. I just realized that this bed is aluminum and not steel so I can't use magnets to hold down the work peice. Bummer. I'll have to figure out something else.

In the past when I engrave sometimes the laser will cause smoke to damage the project as it burns. This work platform saves most of that happening by letting the smoke pass down if needed and air will take it away. This also saves my work table from getting etched by the laser from the aluminum plate on the bottom. This kit gave 8 rubber corners where I put 4 on the bottom of the aluminum plate from moving and on top of that allows a air gap below so becomes a heat barror to the surface. I also put 4 on the bottom of the work platform to sit on top of the aluminum plate and not to move. The work platform or work grid is also made of aluminum and seems to be hard to damage. I also like the edges are riveted together so it won't come loose over time like screws do. I am counting this to last for a very long time so I don't have to buy another one but if I had to these don't cost alot so I would. Hope I don't and have Good Luck with this one but just incase. Right?
