We moved from a house into a condo a few months ago and needless to say, that required some downsizing. We were used to having lots of space for lots of stuff, but that's not our current situation any more. Our condo has a small storage area (about 4x8 ft) and we very quickly filled it with stuff. Unfortunately it also quickly got messy because we were stacking bins and other items on top of one another; and it just became difficult to find things. I jumped on Amazon and came across these racks. There were other racks with similar weight ratings, but these had better reviews and so I bit the bullet and paid a few dollars extra to get these. I ordered two of these racks to place in an L shape in the back corner of our storage area. When I started building these, I knew I had a good product. These racks feel incredibly sturdy - way tougher than another wire rack I'd previously bought for one of our closets. The metal on these is very smooth and strong feeling....they really seem built for commercial applications, like a store or restaurant. The wheels are also quite tough feeling and the rack glides effortlessly across the floor. The wheel locks also seem to work very well. The one thing I'm a tad hesitant about is that the box says these racks can handle 500lbs per shelf, but only if you used fixed feet. If you use the wheels, they say the entire rack (all shelves together) can only handle 400lbs. I'm not sure what the rationale for that is, but I suspect that with the wheels in place, it'll hold well over 400lbs....not that I'm storing anything particularly heavy. Overall, these are fantastic racks! I'm confident that these will last for years and I would easily recommend them.

A quality sturdy product. This is the second rack we've ordered - it does a great job with file boxes and supplies in a back storage room. The wheels are a big plus and it is so sturdy under all that stress. I wish it had another shelf - or the option to order one. And putting it together is a job for at least two patient/strong people because it all has to be held up at once to set the racks and hold everything square. But once you get it together it does the job well and seems like it will last forever.

Because we are over 80 years old with physical limitations, we were a bit worried about assembling the unit and getting it into the garage. Without any trouble we put it together in an hour in the family room and wheeled it out the door into the garage. We are very happy with this product and would buy it again. Also it was delivered 7 days EARLY!
