This is one of the best borescope’s I have used. I wasn’t really expecting it to be as good as it is given that it costs much less than other brands with articulating borescopes. But this impressed me. The push pull mechanism is pretty smooth and easy to use. Also the cable is springy and pretty versatile so it doesn’t get tangled up. I really worked out well in inspecting my engine for carbon build up. I also used it to locate my ring which fell down a pipe which was amazing. The screen is pretty clear with good picture quality, way better than my other scope. And the camera field depth is right on and stays sharp even when zoomed out. Overall, very happy with this.

The image quality on this borescope is excellent, very clear and detailed. The articulation works smoothly and the probe is small enough to fit into tight spots. I could easily imagine myself using this for plumbing work or automotive repairs where visibility is limited. The light is bright enough to see in dark spaces and the cable feels durable. The only change I would make is to have the digital display swivel on the head so I could adjust the viewing angle without moving the whole unit. Overall it feels like a solid and practical tool to keep around. I hope the articulation lasts! Seems so awesome, only seen on medical grade endoscopes.

Who doesn't need a borescope? I didn't think I needed one, but I got one now. So far I've used it to see in the dryer vent checking for clogs, looking under and behind the stove (scary under there) realized I need to clean under and behind the stove, same with the fridge, looked under the car seat for fun, look down the floor HVAC vents and foud several lost items my toddler put down there (or the cats couldv'e I guess), down the shower drain (found a small toy), up the tail pipe on the Jeep (son was curious what was inside), under the couch (found lots of cat toys, hairballs, hot wheels cars, lego), insides of toys. The picture quality was pretty decent on the screen. There is a slot for a micro SD card, which you can save to. I'm not sure if you can save video, or if it's just a photo capture. I would assume it can capture photos or video. I don't have a micro SD card to test that out. If it captures video, I have some great ideas for using the tiny camera to get awesome shots in some of my stop motion videos. I'll definately have to come back to this review and upload a few shots from my stop motion videos if it works. I guess stop motion is just a bunch of photos anyway so I should really get some good shots. Dang now I need to get a micro SD card. The line is about five foot (5') so you should be able to scope most places. For longer reach, I would need to call a professional. If it's to far to reach with this scope, it's to far for me to do anything about anyway. I think the only thing I would change would be having a case to store this in. I don't want it to get accidentally broken so I'll be keeping it in the box that it came in. I really like how easy it to use. I didn't read the instructions and was able to figure it out on my own. I'm a guy so I didn't see the instructions when I first opened the box. It is great that it's USB rechargeable. If for whtever reason you're using this and the batteryh dies, you could plug in a USB batery pack and use this while charging (if you're in an area without power). I did notice in the stock images there are three (3) small items (circled in photo). I am not sure what those are as they weren't in the box. Those parts aren't listed in the instructions, nor are they in the description of the listing. I originally got this as a less expensive option for macro prob shots, but its use is so much more versatile. A normal macro prob camera can't bend around curves or corners. Macro prob cameras are several hundred dollars so I'll use this for now. For whatever your needs are for a tiny camera that can get in difficult to reach areas, this borescope is a great choice.

This borescope is definitely great. High resolution camera. Different modes of output on screen. Zoom in. Control of position. Works great. High quality and very good price. Light with camera is clear and very strong. It is easy to use. Mostly I bought it for car inspection. Highly recommend!

I often have to get lint out of our washer/dryer combo, and I can’t see behind a corner. I was using an iPhone version but it couldn’t bend like this can, it just feels sturdier and the dedicated screen is amazing, controlling the view is so much easier. I love adding this to my arsenal of useful tools that are taken for granted

I have a cheap borescope camera with the regular camera leads on it but it is nothing like this one. The ability to control the camera head is a game changer for inspections . the camera and display have a very good picture output. I bought this to inspect some leaky plumbing up in my garage ceiling and it works great. I was able to pinpoint the leaking minutes with the led lights on the camera head. Awesome! Some cool features and the ability to use this as a stand alone without any cords or external power supply is a winner for me.

This is a great tool to have on hand. I previously used a camera that connected to my iPhone/iPad, relying on those screens to view the feed. While it worked, it required using a separate device and installing an app — not always convenient. This unit, however, has a built-in screen, so it works completely standalone, which I really appreciate. While it advertises 1080p resolution, the image quality is definitely not true HD — it's fairly grainy. That said, the range of features more than makes up for the video quality. You can adjust the contrast directly on the display and zoom in or out as needed, both of which are genuinely helpful. The standout feature for me is the articulated tip — there's a toggle on the handle that lets you bend the camera hose back nearly 100 degrees. That flexibility is incredibly useful. I found myself testing it out by snaking it into dark kitchen cabinets, bending the tip to get a reverse view of joints and shelf corners — basically seeing inside from angles you wouldn't otherwise be able to. I can see this being hugely useful for spotting things behind drywall, inside engine bays, or even in spark plug wells or fuel tanks when checking for leaks, corrosion, or debris. Whether for automotive work or home DIY projects, I’m honestly hooked on what these borescopes can do. For the price, I’m thrilled with this one and highly recommend it.
