Very soft and silky rug. Great price for a great rug. It vacuums really easy with my stick vacuum. When I am bare feet, it's almost too silky lol, but when wearing house slippers, it's just fine. I wouldn't want to run bare feet across the rug. You might go sliding. ;-) Super soft & luxurious on the feet. My Schnoodle approves too. I highly recommend but keep in mind, it has that silky factor to it. I purchased mine for my motorhome. So I don't really expect people in and out all of the time.     • Beautiful rug, but didn't last long...

It was expensive, gorgeous and perfect while it lasted, but it didn't last for long. I treated it with kid gloves, spot cleaning and walking barefoot on it, vaccuumed it gently. The microfiber underneath began to peel away from the fur and became a trip hazard on the corners and edges. It broke my heart but I had to replace it. My WHITE CAT was absolutely in love with this carpet. He laid on it day and night! Looked just like him and was that soft too. :) Perhaps it would have better in a less used space, but I bought the large rug for my living room and it just didn't hold up. So sad about it but I enjoyed it while I had it. :) There was no smell and I did lay it flat for a few days before using it so it could fully expand to it normal size after being vaccuum sealed. It was very expensive and I'm a fixed income so it was a hardhip for me to replace. Perhaps try a smaller version of this in your space and see if it works out before purchasing the larger size. ... show more

I really cannot believe the price of this rug! It is such a good buy! It is so inexpensive that it can be replaced frequently, if needed, which is perfect for us since we use it under my dog's bed in our bedroom. I have already purchased it three times! It lasts about 6 months in good condition with heavy use. The size and weight is perfect for my purpose. The fabric quality is really nice at first - it is extremely soft to the touch. It doesn't hold up super well but I would not expect that it would for such a low price and since we use it for our dog! Since it is black, you don't see dirt on it but it does hold on to dog hair. so it needs to be vacuumed periodically. It is really nice to be able to easily throw it away and order another one and not feel guilty about the price. On the other hand, if you are into sustainability, this may not be the best choice for you. ... show more

I purchased this Soft Shaggy Rug as an additional reading area for my classroom. Unfortunately the rug was not as high quality as I hoped it would be. The rug is very shaggy but is not plush. It will work for a reading area as long as I do not allow any shoes on the rug. The rug sheds a lot and does not seem washable. What I Like: Good Size: The 5x8 feet size is perfect for the space, giving enough area for a few students to gather comfortably. Affordable: For the price, it’s a decent rug that provides a bit of luxury in a classroom setting. What I Didn’t Like: Not Very Durable: The rug sheds a lot, especially after the first few weeks of use. It also doesn’t hold up well with heavy foot traffic, which can be an issue in a busy classroom. Hard to Clean: Spills and dirt can be tough to remove, and vacuuming doesn’t always pick up all the loose fibers. Overall, it’s a soft, affordable rug that works well in a low-traffic area, but I wouldn’t recommend it for a classroom with kids constantly walking on it. If you're looking for something for a more low-key spot, it’s fine, but just be aware that it may not hold up as well as you’d expect in a busy environment. ... show more

I do like this rug for the price. My daughter sadly got paint on her carpet bedroom. I was pretty mad at first and even got some quotes to replace the carpet with either new carpet or hardwood floors which was pretty costly. Instead, I bought a big throw rug to just put down and I bought the 9 x 12. At first glance, it does not seem all that sturdy kind of like a bathmat quality. It’s soft but pretty light and I was a little concerned that it won’t stay down. I unenrolled it and it kind of fluffed up. It’s obviously not the thickest lush shag rug I’ve ever seen but for the price it’s decent. Pretty sure it’s washable too so if she gets it dirty, I’ll throw it in the machine. It helped hide the paint on her carpet and made her room look nice. ... show more
