Overalls have moved from being strictly utilitarian to becoming a casual fashion statement. When you think of overalls, you picture dairy farmers and house painters wearing light cream colored overalls for work purposes only. But, no longer. Overalls have come a long way, and now young and old pair them with a t-shirt instead of a work shirt, and many females wear a tube top underneath bib overalls in the summer, roll up the legs and don a pair of tennis shoes or sandals. I really appreciated all the information in Luvamia's Amazon listing. I would not have thought to turn the denim overalls inside out before washing. I expect that may be to protect the metal buttons or not have them clank around in the washer. I was aware 100 percent cotton should be washed in cold water to prevent shrinkage, but thought I could wash the denim overalls on a perma-press cycle. Now I'll follow the instructions to wash the overalls on the "gentle" cycle. Also, keep them out of the dryer so they won't shrink, since they are not made of preshrunk cotton fabric. Another helpful hint in the listing was that U.S. sizes were listed and it made it easy and I was confident ordering a size small in the denim overalls. The overalls I received looked exactly like the picture in this Amazon listing. I did take some measurements so others that order a small will know if it is the right fit: Waist 29 inches Waist to bottom of Leg 38 inches Leg Width (at widest point) 13 inches Bib Pocket 7 x 7 inches Overall Straps 1 3/4 inches wide (adjustable) The soft pleating below the waist and side pockets is a handy feature. The metal buttons on either side of the waist can be left unbuttoned, which is commonly done for a slouchy, comfortable fit and something I often see in fashion. The stitching on the denim is very even and well-executed. The 100 percent cotton fabric is not too heavy and does not have the rough feel of most denim outerwear. Generally, the more often you wash denim the softer the fabric becomes. The silver buttons and the silver clasps on the overall straps are of good quality. These denim overalls by Luvamia are very well-made, durable, and you will be getting a very good quality in denim overalls. Also, including the light cream colored I ordered, there are a total of 7 color options to choose from. You can't go wrong ordering a real cool pair of Luvamia's denim overalls.

I am 5'6" size 10. These were 7 inches too long. I would have to be 6 feet tall for these to work. Also waist has unflattering tucks/pleats that are not obvious in photos. They made me look heavy with the fabric bunched up at waist. Returned

I loved these overalls- they were so darling!! They were made of thin material however and got caught in my bike gears which led to them ripping! I was able to cut them into shorts and so they still get use but I wish they hadn’t ripped so easily.

Loved these overalls in the pictures, not so much in person. First, the color (I ordered the khaki) is darker than it looks in the pictures, which I get happens with lighting, filters, whatever used when taking the pictures for item. However, in person, these overalls are about a shade or 2 darker. While they are not a "bad" shade of khaki, it is just not the color I wanted. Second, and the most important, the LENGTH. In the pictures the khaki overalls on the model reach all the way to the ground and completely cover her ankles. She looks to be about 5'6" or so. I am ONLY 5'3" and these overalls were no where near the ground and DID NOT cover my ankles AT ALL. This, naturally, just made the wide legs on the overalls look SUPER wide. Sadly, not a good look. On the positive side, they do, pretty much, fit true to size--other than the length, of course.

When I was in my teens and 20s I loved wearing overalls. It was a hot trend at the time, but I just found them comfy and versatile. As I got older and trends change, I stopped wearing overalls but I think it’s time to bring them back into fashion. These overalls are so comfy and easy to wear, it’s just really nice. I’ve taken to wearing them around the house for general errands and taking a walk around the block and they are just fun and comfortable to wear. Very easy styling with just a T-shirt and I’m good to go. i like the fit - have a nice amount of give/stretch so that they are really comfortable when I’m in the garden which involves a lot of bending, squatting and lifting. They are a nice weight for this - and I’m protected from rose thorns and bugs. Overall I’m very happy with these overalls and ready to revive the trend.
