The bed is nice. My son likes it. I got it for the storage in his small bedroom. Thinking the drawers under it would go the full depth of the bed, but they do not so storage is still in short supply. They are also wire mesh baskets so do not hold small toys or even medium sized toys. Might work for extra blankets but again the drawers are small. Easy to assemble. Sturdy metal frame for the bed. Not sure if I'd buy this again knowing what I know now about the under bed drawer size. ... show more

I’m 5’11 and ~260lbs and it’s been pretty great! Not sure if I’d leap onto it, but it was easy to assemble and looks more expensive than I paid for it. There’s still plenty of under-bed space even with both drawers closed. I use a memory foam mattress and it’s pretty comfy. The slatted design distributes weight and supports you pretty evenly, so you’re not sinking through the frame at any spot (I toss and turn a LOT). My mattress doesn’t repeatedly slide off like some without a raised edge, either. I can easily reach between it and the wall without issue because there isn’t a panel on two of the sides (headboard side and the side opposite the drawers). Frame is sturdy, fits into the corner of the room perfectly leaving more space. Love the way the frame goes all the way to the floor, no hiding spot for pets, & the 2 extra drawers for storage is a big plus. Easy to put together. Good price would buy again!

The bad: absolutely NOT rated for 1000lbs -not that I really expected that, but I did expect it to hold a single ~200lb adult sitting sort of on the edge of the bed. Two of the bars bent immediately with one falling out of its supports. I would assume this would also be no good for a younger child who is inclined to jump on their bed. Less important but still annoying is there is no way for the drawers to stay under the bed without moving if they’re bumped (we have vinyl laminate flooring) The good: assembly was easy enough, frame is lightweight, there were extra of each bolt included in case you lose one while assembling. It’s a nice looking frame and was shipped packaged appropriately to not have damage when it arrived. We will try putting plywood under the mattress to see if it takes the strain off the individual support bars so we don’t have to return it. ... show more

This bed frame took a good amount of time to assemble, lots of pieces, but it was all well-built and sturdy. I didn't like that the storage drawers are not on sliders or tracks, they are just loose baskets on wheels that slide under the bed. One problem I ran into was in assembling the wooden drawer faces to the baskets. They require 2 screws on the left and right, and one in the middle. The metal brackets on the sides are thicker than the tiny one in the middle, so after cinching all of them down, the middle one left a visible dent in the outer surface of the wood, almost going through! I recommend adding a washer or not tightening down all the way. The other feature it's lacking, which I've seen on other similar frames on Amazon, is some kind of horseshoe-shaped metal "stopper" attached to the top of the frame at the foot and head of the mattress, to keep it from sliding around since the frame is a flat surface with no sides. Wouldn't hurt to have something similar on the sides of the mattress, at the foot and head, to completely square the mattress with the frame. ... show more

The wood quality of this piece is honestly trash. One use after assembly the screws that you use to hold the shelves broke. So if you add any weight on them they are pretty useless. The mattresses I got skin in on the sides. So I would have to get a box spring and that makes the bed way too high. But it was pretty easy to assemble and does look nice.
