This Life Balance 10-inch twin mattress has been a fantastic addition to our guest room. I was really impressed with the balance of support and comfort it provides. The individual pocket coils seem to contour to the body well, and the medium feel is just right – not too firm and not too soft. I definitely noticed the minimized motion transfer when someone shifted on the bed, which is a great feature. To be honest, I bought it with a try mentality at first, but I was really surprised after using it. The mattress was delivered in a box. It returned to its original state not long after opening the package. There was no pungent smell and it expanded very quickly. The medium touch design is just right, not soft or hard. There is a certain sense of wrapping when lying on it but it will not sink in. The back and waist can get good support. I feel a lot more relaxed after waking up after a night's sleep. Its hybrid structure has a soft foam upper layer and an independent pocket spring at the bottom. The support is much better than that of a pure foam mattress, and the isolation movement effect of the independent spring is really good. If someone turns over next to me, it will hardly affect me. It is especially suitable for people with light sleep. The surface fabric is soft and skin-friendly, and it is very comfortable to use. I added a protective cover and it felt more secure when sleeping. The edge support of the mattress is a little weak. If you sit on the edge for a long time, you will feel a slight sinking feeling, but it will not be affected at all when you sleep lying down.

We have a bunch of twin beds in our home so our many grandchildren can stay over comfortably, and this mattress is the best yet overall. Let me get my one complaint out of the way since its really minor and more of a convenience factor than on the bed itself. I really wish this had handles on the side to help move and store the twin mattress like other brands, it just makes it easier for one person to do it all alone. As for this Hybrid mattress it exceeds what I expected for the money. They say its medium feel, but it has a nice solid firmness, and you don't sink into the mattress. It also keeps its shape even when I am close to 200lbs lay on it, zero sag. The sides as you sit on the mattress hold up and don't bend down and keeps you from sliding off the bed. The padding on this hybrid mattress is well constructed offering nice support and comfort, highly recommend this mattress to anyone as a gift or for themselves, 5 solid stars.

After unpacking it, it slowly expanded on its own, and in less than a few hours it was fully restored. There was no odor and no corner collapse. The first feeling when sleeping on it was medium to soft support. It is the type that feels a bit wrapped when lying on it, but you won't sink too deeply. The memory foam layer fits very naturally, and the pressure points of the body like shoulders and hips can be relieved, but the back and waist are supported by springs underneath and will not collapse. Its biggest advantage is that it can isolate movement very well. If someone on my other side turns over or gets up at night, I can hardly feel the vibration on my side. It is especially suitable for people like me who sleep lightly and are easily woken up. The performance of the independent pocket spring is very stable. There is no sound when turning over, and there is no discomfort of the springs when lying down. The edge support is also better than I expected, unlike some cheap mattresses that sink directly when you sit on the edge.
