This was very easy to assemble. More importantly, however, the slats are close enough together that I can sit on the edge of the bed. I ordered this to replace one that I had recently purchased. When I would sit on the edge of the old one, the mattress would sink through between the slats it was quite frustrating! I needed another bed for my grandchildren when they come to visit, so I ordered this frame and I'm so glad I did! It is really nice and strong, and surprisingly easy to assemble! My son put it together in about 20 minutes. He attached the two sides of the frame together--the two sides of the frame attach to each other with a hinge, so that the frame can be folded in half for easy storage. Then he attached the legs with screws, and fitted the slats into the slots on either side of the frame--they went in very quickly with no screws. To fold the bed, he had to remove the six legs again, and then the frame folded right up. When the bed is needed, I just have to unfold the bed and attach the six legs with an electric screwdriver. I've already got an 8" memory foam twin mattress to plop on it, and then I can make up the bedding for company. It is very sturdy and all the metal is polished and smooth. I'm very pleased to have this nice frame on hand, easily stored in the spare room. ... show more

It comes with all the tools needed for assembly, which should only take a few moments. Great price for a really sturdy bed frame. Though a bit more tedious to assemble than a basic fold out frame for a box spring, this went together smoothly. There are 5 sections that fold out and all the bolts (and an allen wrench) are included. Then you simply place the bars in and you have a frame. It is heavy enough to give you confidence in its sturdiness, but not so heavy that it's hard to move or transport. Faily tall so lots of storage room underneath.     • Assembling the bed frame was very easy.
This full size bed frame is designed so that most of the parts hinge open, eliminating many bolts and construction pieces. This feature makes it very quick and easy to assemble. Once assembled and all the bolts are tight, it is very strong and does not squeak or rattle. They say it supports 800lb and I believe it. The 14 inch height of the bed frame provides a large amount of storage space under the bed. My 12 inch high storage boxes slide in and out perfectly. They were just slightly too tall for the old bed frame that I replaced with this one. You do not need a box spring with this mattress. We used a mattress purchased from Amazon that came shrunk and vacuum sealed in a small box then it expanded when the vacuum seal was cut. This is a very sturdy and very easy to assemble full size bed frame that is true to size and fits my 74X54 inch mattress perfectly. ... show more
