Ok... I know the first thing people see is the price. Agreed, it's alot of money for a pillow. That being said, this thing is the ABSOLUTE best pillow I've ever used. I'm 60 and suffered from acid reflux for over 20 years. I can't tell you the last time I was able to sleep through the night without waking up because of it, and then I'd have to sit up in bed for an hour or so to let everything settle back down. The rest of my sleep would be restless. Every night. That sucks. In the past week I have slept through every night from the time I laid down at around 11 pm, give or take, till I woke up around 7am. Every night. I don't feel tired in the middle of the day like I used to anymore. My neck, shoulders, and back don't hurt anymore either. Now, when you get it, I'm gonna tell you, this thing is a beast when you take it out of the box (I got the king sized one). It's very heavy for a pillow. It is filled to the max with memory foam, so it's also very big (I took a picture with my hand and arm for context). I like that they give you a small throw pillowcase so you can take some foam out of it to adjust the thickness to your liking (I didn't remove any of the filling). A zipper opening makes it an easy task if you so choose to do that. Again, this thing is big, it's heavy, and relatively firm, but very comfortable. It does cost a bit, but if you suffered, or suffer, from acid reflux like I do, this pillow alone has made sleeping a non issue now. Will it work for you like it did for me? I can't say. I can say it's been a game changer for me, and worth every penny as far as I'm concerned. You need to try this pillow! If it doesn't help you, Amazon has free returns, so it's a win win either way. ... show more

Update: If I could give this pillow 10 stars, I would. Pillow has held its shape and comfort. I have been sleeping much better over the last 3 months with this pillow. It has helped my neck from my injury so much. I have less headaches. There is a pouch along in the inside that stays in place with its stuffing and gives that support to my neck and base of the skull. Perfect positioning. I love this darn pillow. Make the purchase! Wow! I’m a bit of a pillow nerd and this pillow was expensive and so far it’s been worth the money spent. I do have many pillows and I decided to try this one after a neck injury that landed me in the hospital. My previous pillow was the Coop Eden which I also purchased here from Amazon. In comparison, I found that the Coop Eden pillow made my head too hot and the stuffing always bunched around, not giving my neck the needed support. I also put a cotton pillow cover which helped some when dealing with a warm head. It is an amazing pillow but not for me, so I use it for sitting up in bed. Onto the Purple: I’ve slept on this pillow 4 nights. When I received the pillow I immediately tested it out to see how much of the filling I’d need to remove. There’s a casing inside the pillow which ends up being the neck support. I adjusted as needed, ensuring my head was level as I laid on it. Woooowww! The first night was some of the most restful sleep I’ve had in a few years. Second night, again, actual restful sleep! The pillow has some bounce to it but doesn’t overly push your head back. This pillow feels and fits like my head is supported and resting on a cloud just for me. I haven’t noticed any flatness yet. I am very pleased with this purchase and considering one for my husband as well. I’ve also removed enough of the fill to make a small travel pillow (casing comes with) I can take with me in the car. I've really struggled with finding comfortable pillows but this one is great. The ability to adjust the firmness to exactly what I need can't be beat. The (also adjustable) neck compartments are also very useful and make it easy to switch from back to side sleeping during the night without sacrificing comfort. They don't keep too much heat. They are pretty expensive but I'm hoping it will be the last pillow I have to buy for a very long time. ... show more

I was so excited for this pillow to come!! It is well made and I love that it's adjustable. Please note it sorta comes overstuff and does NOT come with extra stuffing. I slept on it the first night and though, "OH THIS IS GREAT!" The next night, not so much, so I took some stuffing out. Nope. Added some back, Nope. I finally decided I just didn't like being able to "feel" the purple grid. I want to sleep on a cloud. In the middle of the night after many nights, I finally grabbed my old pillow and that was when I knew this just wasn't the pillow for me. Returned. I think it's worth a try, but for $100+ for a pillow I want to REALLY LOVE IT! ... show more

Would give 0 stars if possible. I have had this pillow for less than 2 months and it no longer holds it shape. As I sleep at night it twists and all the filling moves the sides and stays there making you feel your head is in a bowel. Adding more filling just makes the pillow too firm and it does this shifting anyway. Packing filling into the support channels makes an uncomfortable bar under your neck and still doesn't fix the problems. I am very disappointed as I had loved my previous Harmony pillow. I tried calling Purple support who you will get if you follow the support links from this seller who recommends adding more filling to the support areas and the pillow in general. Purple will not honor their 100 night guarantee because you bough it from "their Purple amazon team" rather than the regular Purple team. They will also not warranty the pillow because it was bought from the "Purple amazon team." I've never had a manufacture refuse to honor their product guarantees just because you bought it from there store on a different distributors website. Don't waste your money on this, if you are are tempted, buy it from a Purple Store or the Purple Website and not the "Purple amazon" team. ... show more

It is a decent pillow - fairly comfortable (although not the best I've slept on), and PLENTY of stuffing - I ended up pulling almost half of it out, and have a 2nd smaller pillow. However (1) it smelled funky for quite a while - gave me a headache until that went away, and (2) it is WAY overpriced (even getting a 2nd smaller pillow out of it). I was hoping for a miracle pillow, and it really isn't that. Just another pillow filled with chopped up memory foam. Years ago, Costco sold a pillow with chopped up memory foam that was actually MORE comfortable than this one, and was about $40. Wish they still had it, I would buy a dozen to last me the next few years... ... show more
