I was a little skeptical of this item because the price is on par with some of the "beds in a box" you can find at major retail chains, but my son absolutely loves the new mattress! It's springy and comfortable, and holds sheets well (if you've ever had a sheet that won't stay under, no matter what, you know what I mean). I would advise letting it sit on the base/platform for a day so it can fully expand. I didn't notice any off-gassing, but I kept the room ventilated just in case. It's a really nice mattress at a really good price. I highly recommend this mattress!

The thing with mattress reviews is that everyone has their own preferences when it comes to the build materials and the comfort level. So with that said this mattress is rated as Medium in firmness and I would say that it is in line with other Medium Firm mattresses I have slept on. It is a hybrid mattress meaning that it uses both coils and foam. The 12 inches provides a thicker layer of foam over the coils which is something I prefer and is probably better for heavier people. Overall the mattress looks well made and is priced well making it easy to recommend.

The mattress is packed in a box. I recommend opening it on the bed frame because it is a bit heavy. After opening, you need to wait for 24 hours for it to fully unfold. The mattress is very soft, recommended for purchase

The box is heavier. You may need help with unpacking the mattress. It was packaged well. Instructions and tools are provided to cut the plastic film so you don't have to use anything sharp. Be careful when you cut! The mattress is vacuum sealed really well, so when you cut it open it will immediately pop towards you. The instructions say it takes 24-72 hours to fully rise, but I'm all plastic and it's ready and smells nothing. The mattress was soft and firm! Very comfortable! I'm surprised! I lay on it for 20 minutes, don't want to get up. Definitely worth the money. This is a nice mattress and a pleasant surprise to find. Buy it if you are looking for a good mattress at a good price.
