This little lamp is just what I needed for my desk. It has a small footprint and a narrow light area, so it takes up minimal space. I was a little worried about it glaring in my eyes without a shade around it, but it is perfectly designed to so that the light is recessed a little. Even though it is small, the light is very bright on the third level and the flexible neck allows the light to be placed in just the right spot for a number of chores. This design is clean and simpleWith just a tap of the icon button, the light comes on. I love that the arm is bendable, and adjusts to whatever level you need. I also like the three light modes. I have three of these lamps. Each in different rooms. I use this to do embroidery. It's flexible and I can focus the light at any angle. The 3 levels of brightness are great. The only complaint I have is that the base isn't heavy enough to hold it down if you have to angle the light, but it's fine. I stick a bottle of lotion on top of it or something and it's fine.
