Excellent little motion-activated light. Works like a charm. The motion sensor is invisible, presumably hiding behind the faceplate, but work perfectly. Detection range is good -- comes on as soon as I can see the light (and it see me). Light spread is very good, and the light seems spot-on to the promised 5000K daylight color. Build quality is good; it's plastic, but not rickety at all. The wiring is soft & tin-colored, and lacks a ground wire (for those interested). There's a pretty large, plastic-lined, hollow space between the unit and the mounting plate, providing room for cables and wiring nuts to nestle. Very minor negative is that the wires are expected to come out of the junction box, through the mounting plate, where they can be attached to the unit's wires -- which is fine... if you have long wires in your junction box, which I did not. Alternatively, you can run the fixture's wires up through the mounting plate and into the junction box and make the connection there; the wires are plenty long enough, but it leaves you with a wired-up light hanging off while you screw in the mounting plate, which is far from ideal. (I went for option 3 and added some short extension wires.) There's no hanging cable to use while making the wire connections; that, or a snap together wiring harness, would have made a nice addition, but I found the fixture light enough and the cables long enough that there was no real issue juggling them while hooking everything up. Added these in my basement where I had some ancient fluorescent lighting. Love the motion sensing feature. Now I can leave the light switch on always and it'll turn on automatically for me. There's 3 potential settings for length of time the light stays on after sensing motion: 180 seconds, 120 seconds, 30 seconds. Then 3 other settings for how you want the light to operate. Definitely very bright. And couldn't have been easier to install. ... show more

Lights are a very modern design with great features. Was really easy to install but not your standard electrical setup that you see on most light fixtures sold in box stores. That isnโ€™t bad and still installs very easily. We needed the motion detection for the lights in the basement. Gives out the light we expected given the wattage. Update revised: Lowered two stars, issue is that it randomly comes on when there is no motion. We noticed that it comes on at random times when no one is in the basement to activate motion detection. No way to adjust sensitivity if that is the issue. ... show more
