Description

This Tusk tire set includes two tires in a front and rear size. The Tusk Dsport Adventure motorcycle tire is the ultimate dual sport designed for On and Off road use. With its aggressive tread pattern and unique rubber compound, the Dsport tire provides top performance in the toughest off-road conditions while providing great grip and long wear on the street. The deep 16mm tread depth on the rear and the 11.5mm depth on the front not only offer performance and wear, but give the tire a great aggressive look. D.O.T. compliant for road and offroad use.

I am very pleased with these tires. They give me adequate traction off-road and are still DOT legal. The price was fantastic. If I have a complaint, I’d say the front tire is a little nervous on pavement compared to other front tires I have used, but it’s a knobby so you have to respect them and corner appropriately on the street when using tires like this. 21 and an 18 for my 2020 WR250R. Tires are providing great traction in every condition and lasting a long time on the street/road. Two tires for the price of one Motoz Tractionator H/T, I will be using and buying these tires for my 2022 Beta 350 RR-S and my WR250R for as long as I own them.

What can I say ? They look great on my drz 400 , they work good off road but are dot for on road. Just what I needed for my 40 mile ride on pavement to get to and back from the trails.

The tires are pretty stiff which makes installation slightly more difficult than average but it provides great street character as well as some protection off-road. I find that about 18 psi works well vs the factory tire's 22 psi. They chunk very little compared to plenty of other budget tires and provide exceptional on-road performance compared to more off-road oriented tires. I have used other DOT knobbies that would sort of fold up on the road at maximum performance and cause a loss of traction, while these grip to the very end until they start a controllable slide. I'd call these an 80% off-road and 20% on-road tire, but they behave exceptionally well on the road. They are pretty long lasting and durable as well. I find them to be fairly balanced in most situations for my bike where the front tends to lose traction just after the rear for similar cornering loads. It turns out to be a nice feature where I can come into a corner a little hot, easily slide the whole bike into an outside rut, and then continue giving it the beans without ever needing to use the brakes. I'll be using them again. The only reason I am detracting any points is for the chunking. However minimal it may be, I'd prefer zero chunking. These tires have held up better than other dual sport tires I've run, but they are just shy of perfection for my kind of riding. ... show more

i switched to these when the price of the 606’s kept going up. they last a couple thousand miles on and off road use. fitting them to rims it tough they aren’t very soft but once they’re on they last a long time. great for dirt roads and trails pavement is just like other knobbies. loud.
