Features

  • Long-lasting performance. The Michelin Anakee 3 Front Adventure Touring Motorcycle Tire 120/70R-19 (60V) uses a silica tread compound that provides more mileage compared to the Michelin Anakee 2.

  • Easy maneuverability. The architecture of the Michelin Anakee 3 Front Adventure Touring Motorcycle Tire is engineered for precise handling and effortless control.
  • Balanced grip and durability. With innovative silica tread compounds, the Michelin Anakee 3 Front Adventure Touring Motorcycle Tire offers the ideal balance between traction and long-lasting performance.

Description

The Michelin Anakee III tire is Michelin's 90/10 on/off-road adventure tire and it provides excellent street manners due to the road-oriented casing design while being able to handle light off-roading due to its beveled edge tread design.

  • Grippy
Size: 170/60R-17 (72V)
I have a heavier BMW GSA bike that I use these on. After trying out the adventures, the conti attacks, a Metzler or two, I hate to admit that I prefer these. They are very grippy in the twistys and haven’t ever left me feeling unsafe. For comparison, I tried the anakee adventures and for some reason the front tire slid out from under me in a slower turn. I recovered but now I don’t trust that tire and went back to these 3’s. Their only downside really is that they aren’t great off road as they are advertised as a 90/10 tire. I do go off road at least a half dozen times a year but I would rather chance it those few times going slow than all the others going fast on road. ... show more

  • noisy
Size: 150/70R-17 (69V)
Reference 2012 DL650 vstrom. I was running an older set of Shinko dual sport tire on a DL650 I had just bought. I decided to replace the 7 year old tires with a new set of Michelin Anakee 3 tires. Of course they are Michelin so overall have first rate quality built in. The Amazon price was lower than other sources. Handling is very good on wet and dry pavement. My use of them on gravel/dirt was limited but they felt solid and for a heavy non real dirt bike were OK. But I am no dirt riding expert. The major and only drawback was the the noise produced from 30mph to 70mph. It was a higher pitch than the growl sound made with many of the more aggressive treaded tires. Other than some noise they are great. ... show more

  • Great in wet weather
Size: 110/80R-19 (59V)
I just got back from riding the Million Dollar Highway in Colorado on these Michelin Anakee III tires. Typical of this time of the year in Colorado will be afternoon rain, was totally confident riding in the pouring down rain on these tires. Barley slowed down from my normal speed it felt that good. Will buy these again when these wear out. ... show more

  • Good tire but old stock
Size: 110/80R-19 (59V)
The shipment was delayed a day, but arrived in time to mount the tire before my next ride, so all good there. The only negative was that the tire was old stock, DOT dated 2423, 24th week in 2023, 2.5 years old. Not necessarily a problem depending on how it was stored but I have no way of knowing that. The tire looks fine and so far is great after a few hundred miles. I'll need a new one anyway in 18 months or so so I think it'll be fine. I'd be concerned if I rode under 5k miles per year. ... show more
