  • impressive product
Style: Graphene Spray Wax
I was impressed by how excellent this product is in terms of its easy application and its high shine like a crystal mirror, I had doubts because of the negative comments that some have published but in reality if you know how to apply it and you have microfiber cloths you will notice the difference, I recommend having two cloths, one to apply and one dry to shine, I recommend. I will be updating as to the logenvity of the product applied. ... show more

  • Block out some time to managing applying it
Style: Graphene Spray Wax
It is quite nice but takes a lot of effort to apply and remove without streaking. Keep in mind, you are using chemicals which are messing with your clear coat in a different manner than rubbing compound does. You are not taking paint or marks off but messing with re-sealing the clear-coat with something shiny. We will see how it lasts and I will update this comment later. Not supper shiny on top of regular ceramic wax. Will see if I need to strip down the old and put this on for it to look better.....and with what! ... show more

  • Incredible Product, gets better with more uses
Style: Graphene Spray Wax
I love this product. It’s so easy to use and quick to apply but creates a wonderful protective coating. It will really keep your car cleaner longer. It can be used an almost any exterior surface. My favorite way to use it is as a drying aid.

  • Best ceramic coat I've tried
Style: Graphene Spray Wax
I've tried Flex Ceramic Graphene Coat, Adam's Graphene, Shine Armor. In reverse order actually. My wife bought me Shine Armor and it actually works great. Super easy application and amazing performance but durability isn't as good as Turtle Wax Graphene FLEX nor Adam's. Adam's is also easy to apply with very good durability but again, not as good as Turtle Wax FLEX. I'm on my second bottle of Flex Ceramic Graphene Coat because after you figure out how to use it, it has the best durability and it's 1/2 the cost of Adam's! Rule-#1: Use a foam applicator!! (I use this Chemical Guys applicator for $18 and although outrageously priced is worth it keeping your hands from getting covered with product. https://www.amazon.com/Chemical-Guys-ACC220-White-Applicator/dp/B01HP4C7RW). They have the same applicator without the hard handle for ~$8 and it should work just as well but will be messier. This applicator prevents wasting product and applying the exact amount to not create a chore trying to buff it out after. Rule-#2: Don't spray onto you microfiber cloth then apply or you'll waste most of the product. Rule-#3: If you're not using an applicator don't spray "extra" product on your car or you'll have a nightmare getting the excess wiped off. Just two sprays and work it onto your painted surface. Again, the applicator eliminates this issue, and it's faster to apply. Rule-#4: After testing how to apply in a small square, spray down your whole car and let it dry. Then use a clean microfiber cloth to wipe off all excess, folding over to a new clean area as soon as you see it starts to leave product. Wipe down the whole car this way. You'll use several microfiber cloths. You'll notice that a small amount of reside remains but don't worry about that because we address this in... Rule-#5: Use a spray water bottle to mist the car and buff out any remaining residue. Do this area one small area at a time, not allowing any water to evaporate or you'll leave water spots. You will feel a distinct buttery smooth surface materialize under your cloth during this step. It really is amazing. Then, for fun set something that's smooth and won't scratch on you car and watch it just glide off. It really is an amazing product to use. Rule-#6: DO USE FLEX on your windshield/windscreen. We get torrential rains and I now rarely use the high speed on my wipers. The water just sheds/sheets off. This is such an incredible safety feature being able to see the road safely during these downpours. I park my autos in the garage and with normal driving get about 6 months of great durability and then another 3 months of good protection. For the last year I just reapply every 3 months or so to keep the tough shell intact. That brings me to Rule-#7: I don't recommend using the rinse/wet application method unless you want to to burn through this product quickly. Yes, it does work but a lot of it runs off with the rinse water that's beading up on your car. Plus you burn through microfiber cloths drying and buffing your car. Plus, once I started using a high pressure air device to dry my cars this method doesn't apply. I hope these notes help. ... show more

  • Great product but very hard to remove
Style: Graphene Spray Wax
You need a lot more elbow grease to use this product than the ceramic spray. It goes on easy but is very hard to remove and not have high spots.

  • Glossy and relatively slick, not very wear resistant; barely worth the effort
Style: Graphene Spray Wax and To The MAX Wax, L...
3 Month Review: I prepped the surface excluding clay/polish on a factory new finish with an electric pressure washer with a 40deg nozzle at roughly 750psi. Surface was glassy smooth so clay and polish wasn't necessary. Towel dried with plush microfiber. Flex wax was applied using Griots black soft pad by hand, allowed to haze and leveled with Rag Company Pearl microfiber cloths (slightly damp). Removal was easy enough, however it was hard to see missed areas. This doesn't flash like normal graphene ceramic, but more like a very thin wax. Allowed 48 hours to cure and essentially repeated the same process with the Spray Wax. *Both solutions are caustic and will irritate and burn skin- wear gloves including handling pads and cloths. It caused my skin to crack and peel after exposure during cleanup. MSDS stated that these products contain Petroleum Distilates (Flex only) and Caustic Soda (Lye) - PH of Flex Wax is ~8.5; Spray ~8.0. Note that this isn't labeled anywhere and had to find it on Turtle Wax's website. Considering the effort involved in surface prep, I would have been better off using another coating that is strictly ceramic/graphene. Hood, fenders and other surfaces that are considered high wear are showing signs of "Wax" coating failure at 3 months. Water still beads on those surfaces, but now tends to stay there, just slowly sheeting off. First month, rain would actually stand on the surface and blow off in the wind. Admittedly, there has been minimal maintainance on this finish; a few touchless pressure washes and a pressure/sponge wash. Water still beads nicely on side panels and roof, but only sheets slowly on the hood and areas around wheels. Hood still feels a little slick to the touch, but not like the doors. It appears like UV or heat is likely the cause of breakdown. Mind that this is on a new car with a nearly prestine finish; so surface contamination before application is unlikely. I didn't level the paint as the factory finish is orangepeel (Mazda). Recommended surface prep is the same as any commercial 9H coating. It isn't worth the effort for a coating that lasts ~6mos or less under real world conditions for a daily driver stored outside. Maguire's Ultimate will protect the paint just as long; albiet not as slick or glossy; with a lot less fuss. There are less expensive products that perform nearly as well. Going by what is left over, there is enough in the bottles to coat 3-5 vehicles depending on surface area. ... show more
