I used both the hand method and a light buffer at medium speed. For areas where you have more bug and bird deposits that are left over after washing, apply it twice. I've had much luck with Mequiars brand products, including the Cleaner Wax. My truck is outdoors in blistering heat and winter cold. So the paint takes a lot of abuse and I don't wash/wax it frequently. I used this on my 9-1/2 year old truck and was very happy with how much dirt it removed from the paint and how smooth it made the paint feel. Not the quality of a three step cleaner, sealant, casaba wax finish. I'll use it since I purchased the product. Once it is gone, back to a three step cleaning, sealant and complete quality casaba wax. M6 isn't the "mirror glaze" finish claimed. NOTE: vehicle washed, dried and waxed with M6 according to Meguiar's well published wash and wax procedures. Want a great mirror glaze? Use a canaba wax. ... show more
